So, it sounds like the pieces are coming together for all things to end in Outrealm. Though it'll be a good question as to whether this works to Onaga and Co.'s plans or if this ironically works against such plans. Also, loved that the Frost and Sektor got their insults in on that coward who was so weak and afraid that he defaulted to Cyberization in order to keep himself going and make slaves out of all the people he 'recruits' because he's too bad at actual leadership to know how to manage loyalty and what not.

Well, I have to say: There's a lot of stuff to take in here, but I do have some inquiries:
Special Forces plot: Well, guess you'll putting Cassie's MKX ending into use. I did find it odd how Raiden described Shang Tsung as an old man, even though I'm pretty sure he's young in this story. Did Raiden deliberately/purposefully assigned Cassie to assassinate/kill Shujinko or would that be a mistake on his part? I thought he wanted Shujinko to retrieve all the Kamidogu so that Onaga doesn't rise?
Lin Kuei plot: Huh, so that's how you incorporated Frost's MK11 Klassic skin into the story. I suppose it does seem right. So, will we might have some klassic Frost vs Sub-Zero fights, albeit with a "mind controlled" Frost this time, in a later chapter or did Triborg not input that yet? I wasn't entirely sure about that while reading this chapter.

Oh my goodness Sonya verbally destroying Kotal was the highlight of this chapter! Not only was she a badass she brought up a good point. If the U.S let alone the whole world were to unleash all of our nukes onto Outworld they would not survive.

Another explosive chapter.

Raiden senses that now is the time to kick Kotal out of his place as Outworld's ruler. His history with the Special Forces is tainted at best, knowing that he was willing to have the Kombat Kids killed to appease Shinnok. That already told me he was not going to be friends with Earthrealm. Sonya was right to snap on his ass. However, I will say it's risky for Cassie to encounter Shang Tsung by herself.

Bo Rai Cho is taking a tremendous risk as well by traveling into Outworld in the state it's in right now. Yet, he's seen things that don't faze him, so I expect him to be fine when it's all said and done.

Easily the best part of the chapter, Frost and Sektor are in hostile territory with Triborg. To make matters worse, he now has the Dragon medallion, not to mention working to 'enhancing' Frost's potency for killing. Things have turned from bad to worse. Good on Sektor to escape, but I wasn't expecting him to help Frost at all. Maybe there might be some humane traits in there after all. Sub-Zero and the others must hurry.

Well, that was some very interesting conversations among the Outworld rebels. Nice to see Kiba though. So, does that mean the bear and wolf spirits that Nightwolf has in MK11 will just be for "Akicita" or will Eyota also have those? Speaking of Nightwolf, I'm a bit surprise you didn't use his name they gave him in MK11.

Oh things are about to get crazy next chapter. Mileena and co seem to always be the one's that steal the show. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Eyota is surely earning more of my respect for the lengths she is going through to protect her people and to restore the revenants. Her battle with that spirit showed me how far and willing she will go to do what's right. But banishing that spirit to the Netherrealm may be a mistake.

Jade is now apart of Mileena's group and finds that they have more in common than she first expected. She has good reason to question Rain's loyalty but he was quick to fire back at her. It's clear that they all have something to lose and gain. Those orbs will be crucial in liberating the other realms from Outworld.

Raiden's new plot involving the revenants will surely decide where all the chips may fall. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out as they serve as a distraction for Kotal's group while the Special Forces make their move.

Wow, that's raising the stakes there; although I was not expecting the Tekunin to attack them this early as I would think Raiden would be against it, at least for the moment. Also, I'm a bit surprised you gave Cyber Sub-Zero a Pulse Saber since he was still able to wield his Kori Blade, but I suppose it would make sense seeing as Cyrax and Sektor used it in the 3D games. Anyway, judging from that ending cliffhanger, I'm going to take a guess that either this means that we may get cyberized Frost (though definitely not the kind we saw in MK11) or she and Sektor are getting out of there before the Tekunin can cyberize Frost somehow.

Damn, we're still getting canon Frost of a sorts I guess.

The newcomers to join the Lin Kuei in stopping the invaders went well for some time until Triborg decided to show himself. He wasted little time showing the deep gap in skill level between him and Frost, temporarily blinding the girl before taking her and Sektor as prisoners. I can feel all of Kuai Liang's pain for failing to protect Frost, history almost repeating itself. But Sareena said it best. The moment you give up hope, you've already failed. There is still time to save them, but time is not on their side.
