Once again, LOVING this a lot. Butch is so well written here; I really adore the details you write about him, from his thoughts to his feelings. I think one of my favorite parts of today's chapter is the fight between Butch and Buttercup. That part just felt so raw! And when Butch talks with Miss Carlyle, it feels like such a genuine interaction. So many parts of this story feel real and more developed than most fanfictions, and I have so much respect for you as an author.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter! Thanks for another chapter well done :)

I'm hopelessly addicted to this story and the way you portray Butch and Buttercup - they are exactly they way I think about their riveray towards each other and it's just so refreshing to read!

Miss. Carlyle is amazing - she doesn't give up on Butch and encourages him to follow his passion, letting him be open and honest and giving him a safe person he can trust to talk to. She's really a wonderful character and I love this sassy little side of her we were introduced to in this chapter!

Speaking of Butch, you've made him into a well thought out, three dimensional character and it's just so nice to read. A lot of stories I've ready about him just make him this perverted asshole, and while that's fine, there is so much more to his character and you have such a strong grasp of this, it makes me happy. It's a great change of pace!

I could say so much more, but I really wanted to comment and say that this honestly is a great read and you've done such a great job with this!

Congrats 6 thousand words in three days is a lot! And the chapter is really good. I kind of felt the angst that Butch was feeling.

Of course there's drama because we can't have fanfiction with drama. Oof. Can't help but feel for Butch here, especially since Buttercup seemed to be going off on her own there with the fight which was honestly kinda weird.

Oh my gosh! this is so amazing! I can't even figure out the words I need to express how much I adored this. An artistic outlet would be so good for a character like Butch since I figure he's more of a no talk, more action kind of guy. How else can an emotionally repressed kid, who doesn't think he's worth much, be able to express himself productively? I'm so here for the personal growth that his character deserves. Seriously, it's such a brilliant idea! It's so good! And then, to top it all off, your characterizations are so consistent and well thought out that I love all of them! Even though the story hasn't focused on anyone else, I feel like I know enough about Butch's brothers and the girls to get who they are. Also, you write siblings really well, lol, I feel like people can make siblings too campy and sweet, and that doesn't happen in your story!

Ugh, and the crying scene! I wasn't even a page into your first chapter before I had to stop myself from reading, so I could calm down enough to appreciate the rest of it. Like that version of Buttercup incorporated so many of my own person headcanons that I have never been able to express clearly, so when your writing did it so perfectly, I died and went to heaven. And this last chapter, everything came across super great, so don't be stressed. I really enjoy that you didn't feed us every little detail, so we could make the connections we needed on our own. When you wrote, "He wants to be well-liked," I was like that is some good shit.

I'm sorry I keep going on and on, but your story is really inspiring! It deserves way more recognition! You're a wonderful storyteller :) and I can't wait for more!

I cannot stress to you how much I adore the characterization in this story. Your portrayal of Butch is so interesting! I love the way he's written, love how he talks, thinks, and interacts with others. And the way the story reads in general is amazing.

This is an amazing story! Normally I find Boomer and Bubbles in these artistic situations as most stories imply they're the artsy ones and I never imagined it to be Butch's thing until this came along!

Butch being into art and having a parental figure that actually gives a shit about him (that isn't Miss Keane because she gives a shit about anyone of her students) is something I didn't know I needed but am now glad to have gotten.

I also liked seeing the brothers be brothers. A lot of people portray them as brothers being violent or cold to each other, and I'm sure when they were kids they were, but they're teenagers and at least have grown up enough to actually be brothers like the girls are actually sisters.
