It has the perfect amount of sweet, funny, and serious moments. (plus I'm kinda biased since i'm a Knightshade shipper)

So, not gonna lie: canon Blake's actually my least favorite character in all of RWBY. For all the good that's there, there's also an unfortunate amount of RT blundering their way through things and worse yet, allowing the fans to dictate plot pertinent (characters be that, yo) points.

That being said, fanfiction Blake, where authors attempt to do something more with her character, really have her open up happens to be a favorite of mine. Because everything I hate about the character in canon is usually addressed and made into something even better fleshed out. To the point where I can say Blake easily gets up there with Nora, Coco, Weiss and Yang as a favorite.

Your stories however are the best of show in terms of making Blake into an exceptionally likeable, easier-to-understand character and actually give better, real reason to her actions and you manage to do so in a way that just makes me appreciate her character for those things I usually consider flaws and this story is a shining example of that. Everything flows smoothly, organically and it feels so much more real than the usual stuff we get. Sure there's a bit of oddness with real-world bits getting in there (French, actual book titles) but because of how it's a backdrop, made to better illustrate a fast-bloomed friendship that's slowly but surely becoming a romance it works very well. You get the character in a way that really makes her more human, turning even her flaws into something that's less offensive and more earnest in a way.

It's crazy. But you definitely write an utterly fantastic Blake, one that's a joy to read and I love how you've captured the romantic aspect of each of the stories you've written. Shows off some damnably good Knightshade. Although here, after this brunch of Jaune's I do hope we get to see Jaune returning the favor and forcing the drama queen (it's perfectly understandable why she reacts the way she does, but Blake's also full of it. A parents love isn't so easily extinguished after all. So yee, drama queen in that oddly adorable way that teens manage) to find some happiness in her life, by reuniting with her parents. I also look forward to reading more of the romance unfolding, Jaune and Blake getting closer because you do a phenomenal job of that.

As for a Dragonslayer fic, if it's written anywhere near as well as this one then yes, please. I love the way you come at these stories in a grounded, slice-of-life, share the minor details to breathe life into these characters sort of way. Would be quite awesome.

But for now, I'm just going to say thank you for the fantastic story and I hope to see more of it, as well as your writing in general in the future. Definitely worth the read and definitely something to look forward to!

And in Initiation everyone followed Jaune’s leadership when. Even who fought what and how the teams were organized was on his orders and when RWBY was cut off from JNPR they stopped and looked to him for orders.

Really enjoying the story, the pacing and characterization of all the characters present is wonderful, and the way you are slowly pushing Jaune and Blake together seems so natural. I look forward to reading them grow ever closer.

Why is Jaune's family so surprised he has muscles, like I don't care what anyone says, I refuse to believe Jaune spent his life as a dam couch potato, then only did anything physical when he went to Beacon, sorry but that just seems really stupid to me.

Oh how I do love meeting the parents. Also that ending was very fun with them making a pet. Very excited for the next chapter!

And the parents secretly play "good cop, bad cop" on Jaune's potential love interest.
