I don't think it was to bad just short in activity. Hachiman is clearly making plans and creating an arsenal. Hayama is dealing with the realization that they may not all survive and having a victory under his belt at the end.

I'm guessing things will just continue as is and ignore the AN chapter?

Seems like Hachiman and company are making some progress. Not much to compare it to but perhaps Hachiman might make further progress compared to canon one maybe. I couldn't help but think that Shizuka would have been boosting about being proclaimed a goddess of fertility if she was here. Looks like Aiko will have to endure.
