Aaand there it is...the reason to stop reading...I can get past Luffy preferring Enel's fruit to his own, even tho rubber has clearly been shown to be awesome, and practically the only reason he is alive to that point... I can even get past the tired old cliche of learning the rokushiki, that every author seems to love, which shows a horrid lack of originality, is super boring, and makes Luffy fight just like any other marine... but Luffy just executing someone by burning him alive while tied up to scare worthless villagers...yeah, just not happening, that would never be the Luffy I love, and none of the crew would ever accept a captain that does that.

Pretty good start here, though I was hoping Luffy would have a harem with Robin in it. Seems like several stories of this nature are coming out right now. I read one where just Luffy went back and gathered a whole new crew since the Straw Hats are kids.

Making Luffy a spearman was a nice touch. Also while I love his fruit it will be interesting to see him explore new abilities with the Rumble Rumble. Not sure who he's going to give it (the Gomu Gomu) too though since this is so much earlier than canon.

Enel for the team I like it if it happens if not its okay.
Hancock for the team is also yes, but if not oh well as long as they do the do.
