OH? That is very surprising to learn about Minato. But I suppose it shouldn't be. It's nice for him to get that closure.

See this is a good type of emotional i don't mind plus getting more insight into his family and finally accepting that his mother is there and has unconditional love for him also hope that will settle a lot of Kushina's fears about the changes her son have undergone.

This is why he is on this path to finally get the family he has wanted and longed for his whole life no longer having to look at others in the street wonder what it feels like to go home to a house full of love and not a empty one were only loneliness awaits

Now that the villains have waiting till Naruto can fight now the battles can start while everyone blames Naruto for not staying sick for the rest of his life :P

Nice to see him reconnect with his God-Parents even if it is hard they are breathing maybe even less broken then canon since Minato and Kushina are still around

Ah nice to see the tensions melting away. And yeah, his training and techniques are definitely gonna come into question if they are too different in this path. Let's see what his closest friends think after the spar.

That had to be one of the most painful chapters to read knowing how much Tsunade ment to him while not getting lost in the fact that A Tsunade was before him breathing. But did get a nice moment between him and Kurama.

That last scene after Naruto left is about as painful to see as Kushina being lost and unable know how to help her son :(

I do hope that Sayora does not have nightmares over this little event but sadly this is not the anime were everything is fine and PTSD does not exist *sigh*

Really feel bad for Kushina as she is so lost as to what is going on and unable to help her family out :(

Hi! I'm ashamed, I missed the notification for the release of the chapters 7 and 8 and so only discovered them today, along with the two other chapters. And me who waited eagerly the mail I managed to not see them. But when I read the chapters it was really a breath of fresh air.

To do that correctly, I'll review the chapters in order.

The chapter seven was definitely the most intense of them all. The magnitude and sheer force of Naruto's trauma really hit me at that moment. Before this, though we knew of all he went through, we didn't really see the impact it had on him. Thankfully, Shikamaru was here to drag him out of his inner demons and ground him to the reality, to the present.

I was surprised SHikamaru knew what to do in this situation. From what I understand, their timeline was in relative peace since the end of the Third Great Shinobi War, so knowing instinctly how to help Naruto with his shadow was unexpected. Of course Shikamaru was close to Naruto in both universes, but only the Shikamaru who went through war should have this kind of reflex. Then again, he is still a shinobi who stood alongside shinobi who whent through the Third War, so maybe he learnt it through them. Or maybe it's just something both Naruto like and both Shika know.

Anyway, I really liked the scene. It really showed how close to Naruto he is. Speaking of which, even though I was astonished by the nature relationship, I approve of it.

Shikamaru did good while speaking to Naruto. He obviously noticed the strange comportment of Naruto, but he didn't press for answers. It's not that easy, not asking anything despite the curiosity and the worry of what have happened. He is a great friend.

Chapter eight was much more light-hearted, the conversation wiht Kakashi focusing on happy memories. It was a chapter where I laughed a lot, mainly the fart of baby Naruto while Minato was with the Daimyo, it was epic! It's good Naruto still has the instinct, reflexes and feelings of this path Naruto, he isn't completely lost on this timeline and able to adapt, while still incorporating a few new memories steadily. For now, it seems is integration is going pretty smoothly.

Chapter nine was, I think mostly for Kushina and his sister to understand Naruto changed a lot. Before this, there wasn't anything that could worry them beyond a few changes in behaviour, but for him to react that badly to being startled as to nearly killing Kakashi, it must finally settle on their minds how different he is. Add to that the commanding tone he had with his family... I wonder if Naruto or Minato will tell them the truth.

Actually, I really wonder to whom he will tell the truth. Tsunade and Shikamaru are pretty much settled, but is there someone else close enough to him that would deserve to know the truth? We didn't yet observe his relationship with Sasuke and Sakura, if he was in their team maybe will he tell them the truth? And since Minato and Fugaku and Kushina and Mikoto are good friends, I wouldn't put it paste this path Naruto to be close with Itachi and Shisui. By the way, please tell me Shisui is alive! This character is just so great!

For the last chapter, what I really liked was the comparison Tsunade made of the Shodai and the Nidai Hokage and of Naruto. It's somewhat sad that what she their resemblance is their haunted eyes, pupils who saw the worst abominations humans are able to commit, who saw the horrors they are able to perpetrate in desperate situations, but it also proves the worth of the first Hokages. I recently gained a very deep respect towards the Tobirama, he is the incarnation of the ideal shinobi. Be it his personality, strict towards himself and towards his allies. His drive to protect his village and how much he is willing to endure. His determination, knowingly creating the darkness that is ANBU to better protect his village. And finally his genius, he created the Hiraishin, the signature jutsu of the Yondaime Hokage, a jutsu that ended a war. He created the Kage Bunshin, a jutsu that with the right conditions – that only Naruto fits for now – can allow a ninja to progress at a speed superior than the best of prodigies. And finally, he created the Edo Tensei, a jutsu that needed the combined force of the Great Five Hidden Villages to defeat, and even then at a price none of them could afford to pay.

I disgressed a little, but I really liked this moment. Aside from that, I wonder if the injuries of Naruto are due to his excessif use of chakra for the Hiraishin, if they were there since he came to this timeline, a by effect of his travel from a universe to another or if they were due to the foul chakra of Tobi. Similarly, did Kurama manage to heal him so fast because there is also a Yin Kurama in this universe from whom he can absorb chakra or if it is unrelated.

Anyway, I was so happy to discover I had four chapters to read today. Still, I'll try to not miss the mail notif the next time.

yeah having his two closest people to hand again, and yet knowing they are different people would be heartbreaking.

Well this chapter answered some of my questions from that last chapter. I don't mind the idea of Shika and Naru have a what was it 'sanity fuck' LOL seems to have happened in both lives.

Its wild to think that Iruka's life was vastly different must like Naruto with parents being alive and well giving Iruka the drive to continue his career and become know as a skilled Jounin

That ending i kinda expected as it was unfolding but it was a hard choice to tell a man that has grown up with Naruto to not want to help even if i knows it could end badly *sigh*

Nice to see this Naruto still has the one close friend as it seems Sakura was his lifeline in the past to keep him grounded this time it seems to be Shikamaru is the one to keep him grounded.

Going to guess as the last life everything went wrong and lost almost everyone this time he still have most if not all his friends he made in the leaf before the 4th War

Somewhat surprising revelations about relationships on this path. I'm looking forward to more. Wonder who will learn of what happened.

This is much much of great story that finally I can found it.. I WILL waiting for the next chapter even if you update for the next year or decade.. Thank you so much for your bright idea you share in this story.. I love it..
