Why would Rukia immediately assume that he's from a different universe? It's far more logical to think that he's just from an age long ago where pirates were a big thing

Awww man. I'm all caught up :(... This was a great read though! As for this chapter, I was actually taken by surprise when it was revealed that Luffy doesn't have his rubber abilities anymore. Though, it makes sense when it comes to the rules of Devil Fruits, with the spirit of the fruit leaving the body once they die. But will Luffy still have the ability to use Haki? I'm guessing yes, since it's more of a spiritual training to harness it's power. But yeah man, you have something great cooking up in here :D! I can definitely see some great potential in this fic. Your grammar and structuring seems to be good so far, though I will say that the first chapter's dialogue was pretty smooshed together. Other than that, you've been doing great so far, so keep it up! I'm excited to see where you take your story, I can tell this is gonna be a fun one :). But for now, I'll be waiting on that next update for some more R&R. Take care, wash your hands, and stay home. I'm glad that Luffy didn't get all gloomy and depressed, but I also suspect that he might be wearing a mask(pun unintended) in front of Ichigo and Rukia. The prospect of places to see and adventure to partake in is exactly what he needs to heal himself from the loss of his family.

Holy hell, this is a great start! If I'm being honest here, I've never been that interested in Bleach. I got around halfway in, but all the filler was annoying as hell. Now THIS has definitely gotten my interest. I'm excited to see where you take this :D!

I am loving this story so far and can't wait for more. The characters are in character and I can't wait for Luffy to interact with more characters. I like the fact that you have Tatsuki being able to see Spirits and now I am wondering if you going to do the samething with Yuzu. I do hope Tatsuki going to be a part of the team.
