Let’s hope they are finally honest with each other. They have hurt each other instead of comforting each other. They need to clear up all that was said and unanswered over the last few years. Can’t wait for what is in the letter. Anxiously waiting for more

i don't think she did the right thing. talking would have been better. perry was wrong when he tried to surprise. della. it can' be arthur.

Oh Della...this is really sad. She doesn't know that Perry's ready to quit being a judge and move back to LA to be with her. Why is she pushing him away? What secret is she keeping from him? This chapter is starting to help me understand why Perry is distant with her in "present day" (1985).

this can't be happening. what is della doing. she loves perry. i don't understand either one of them.
why can't they talk it out. there is too much at stake.
