The easy way they interact, swapping book recommendations, braving long lines to obtain coffee or tea for the other, the fact that Kakashi has an unofficial chair in her office and they’ll spend time together in comfortable silence while she works, and that she is his emergency contact (and everything else). The fact that he threw himself back into ANBU missions so he could make sure that she and any potential future children were better provided for...just, ugh, my heart. Looking forward to seeing how the story unfold. Thanks! |
