Awesome! This is an amazing story, and you are a great writer.
I have some feedback. Gabriel can be cold, but he does love his son. I feel like he would never slap adrien or yell at him this way. He usually raises his voice when he's had the last straw, and just tells adrien to go to his room. but he truly loves his son, and wants to protect him-in the show, he just has a reallllyyy terrible way of showing it, lol!
And other than that, this was awesome! what i loved most about this chapter was that sabine knew that mari was ladybug and she acts like a true mother. i find it sad that in the show, sabine cant even recognize her own daughter. thanks for putting that in! ;)

Tragedy and pain seems to be th only thin to act as wake up call, and I hope that they work through it and preferlyl don't instantly become a couple (Seriously there are a lot of issue because Marinette sin't that close in civilian side and ehro side, she along with Fu helped keep hint he dark and with weredad and her comment about not needing chat, the moment he wa singled out for knowing someone, etc. it builds a lot fo trust issues. a reveal is needed so they can work together as partners but don't brush away the hurt.

Everyone has blame, even int he Lila issue, Marinette could've ended he rin volpina and even inc hameol told him the truth,

so much can be done, they are kids but at the same time between the two fo them marientte has always had help and apparently her mom now,

I want to see them both happy but build on things. and restore a real balance (example that if Adrien wants something to stay destroyed the cure doesn't work or something, she doen'st have the power to override Chat, sine he is meant ot be equal etc)

Commination and dissucing ne holders and how their lives are going for friendship and partnership.

Sorry I'm ranting a bit, this is interesting story.
