And now to review this chapter. The birthday party is here and naturally everyone's focus is on Lea and Elsa, given her daring escape from her own wedding for her supposed bad boy boyfriend. Lea is as good natured as ever and takes everything with a smile. He truly is devoted to Elsa and its clear that even if she can't see it yet, he truly values her as a person and loves her. The "let me kiss you" struck me in the heart. It was so unexpected but made me, a grown twenty-something man, have to take several seconds to remember how to function before continuing to read. I'm ever curious about why Anna has been avoiding her sister and who this mystery boyfriend of hers is. Hopefully we'll get to find out soon. This was a great chapter and I look forward to the next one.

Finally I've been able to get to this. Apologies for my late review, I hadn't had the chance to read up til now. I did read both chapters already so I'll review this one first. This chapter was lighthearted and somewhat comforting - the calm before the storm, if you will. It sets nice undertones of sincere moments for Lea and Elsa and he really helps her get into a good mindset for they tread forward into the events of the birthday party. I enjoyed every second of Mattias' cameo and characterization. He was by far one of my favorite characters in Frozen II and I loved how you captured his attempt at humor. I enjoyed this chapter very much.

Not sure how, but the laugh out loud count is an even eight!
The character interactions in this chapter are just golden! Iduna is a mystery to me, while Yelena was a believable stern aunt. Maren is a sweetheart and Anna still remains as awesome as ever even with her “secret”.
And, of course, the sheer tooth-rotting sweetness of Elsa and Lea cannot be overstated!
I am excited to see how the weekend concludes!

Wahoo, chapter 25 baby! I can’t believe we’re almost to the end! It makes me want to cry, especially since our lead couple have yet to unite and become one! They must forge the χ-blade!

The snickerdoodle scheme had me sniggering the whole time cause Elsa was so serious about knocking poor Kai unconscious. What did that poor butler ever do to her? XD

Also, Elsa’s braid being broken is hilarious to me given its like her trademark look. XD Also, an excuse for Lea to play with El’s hair has me grinning like a damned fool. You sly minx you. Leas pep talk was sweet and good natured. He really is the perfect boyfriend. If only El would notice that and make the man officially hers — though I’m pretty sure in his head, she’s his girlfriend and he’s just waiting for HER to realize it. XD

I’m rambling. Ahem. Moving on.

Yay, Mattias is here! I loved him so much in the movie, he’s just a big sweetheart.

Ooh, I really want things to go well. My hopes are pretty high and also kinda confused with what Anna's deal is right now.

The guest appearance for this one could not have been better. I had hoped to see him and he more than met my expectations. And you wrote him so well! Not that I’m surprised.
All of this romantic tension and build up is making me ready to see the so feared party. Can’t wait to see it!

I found the inclusion of Yelena, Honeymaren, and Ryder to be relatives of Elsa's to be an interesting choice indeed, and I liked the characterization of two characters who didn't have much in Frozen II (other than the reindeer thing, of course). It was interesting to see their interactions with Elsa, especially given Elsa and Lea's ruse of dating and them being questioned by Maren. It seems like its obvious to everyone but Elsa that she has actually fallen for Lea, but she's in serious denial about it. It might take Elsa much longer before she comes to that realization. I also have my curiosity piqued as to why Anna has been avoiding her sister. Hopefully, answers will be revealed in the upcoming chapters. I look forward to the next chapter.

- Elsa's social anxiety is so relatable—large groups also intimidate me because everytime I say something, I start freaking out wondering her exact concerns. It's so hard to read the atmosphere in big groups so small group settings are my preference (#introverts). But she's right, when it's a stranger...now you HAVE to talk! Which this reader is very happy with, because I want to see Elsa bumble through a conversation with Lea and SHIPPING MOMENTS. Muahahaha.
- Yes, I love Lea's easygoing personality slowing getting Elsa to drop her guard. And learning each other's backstories yooooo. BONDING. It was nice learning a little more about Lea, along with some interesting crumbs...like what bad habits did he kick? I need his entire bad boy backstory, cause I'm convinced that's what it is. Plus also what made him change. Guess both our leads are trying to give this "brand new start" thing a shot.
- I love supportive Anna (who also is hiding a bf somewhere hmmMM?). I'm a little curious whether she's also had a very sheltered life till now, though she and Elsa are drastically different. Maybe Anna's fine with decisions being made for her? Maybe she has more freedom than her sister? Just something I was thinking of haha.
- She is STEALTH. Lol honestly as a third party, I appreciate Lea trying to drag Elsa out of her comfort zone, but if I were Elsa, I'd be FREAKING out. When you wrote about the spotlight and all the people, I could really imagine the scene in my head. And probably really upset with Lea tbh lol. I guess that's what friends do tho—help you make tough decisions to better yourself. I'm so happy Elsa enjoyed herself in the end!
- And oMG the night isn't over yet! What else do you have in store for our characters?!

I gotta say: as much as I love the plot-centric chapters, the all-fluff ones are just as great! This was an awesome way to introduce some relatives that aren’t awful. R&M are so well-written and seem like such great people! And R’s nod to reindeer was actually really funny.
Anna, of course, is a pleasure to read abouteven if I wish she would spit out the secret that will no doubt be revealed in the most dramatic way possible very soon.
Elsa’s inner voice continues to entertain, and her references are always on-point.
And best of all: Lea. The dude is goofy and romantic as all get-out! Man, I wish I had a shred of that kind of charm.
Really excited to see how the day continues to unfold!

Alright, chapter 24 is here! It’s the morning after Mommy Dearest’s visit and Elsa is ready to take on the new day! El’s family is a real piece of work in this universe. So hoity-toity and snobby. I’m glad Elsa and Anna didn’t inherit that kind of coldness — even if Elsa is naive in a lot of ways, she’s by no means cold or thinks she’s better than anyone else, unlike her parents. I don’t blame her for snapping and taking drastic measures like she did when she ran away from her own wedding.

“I thought I might find you here” OMG ANNA PULLED A KAIRI. I literally read that line in Kairi’s voice and everything. XD Also “perish the fucking thought” had me gigglesnort. Lea, ever a gentleman and classy potty-mouth.

Oof, I’m super worried about the fact Anna is still avoiding Elsa and is clearly hiding something. But her scene of tryna kidnap Lea was hilarious XD Girl is determined though. I’ll give her that.

Nd we’re back to Elsa’s man boobs obsession here on Channel 4. Where all we talk about is Elsa’s desire for Lea’s chest. 24/7. Nonstop. Only man boobs. Only LEA’S man boobs.

I do like that you made Maren (Honeymaren) and Ryder Elsa’s cousins in this universe. I feel like it really fits, and I enjoyed the inclusion of them. F2 really helped solidify this story in a lot of ways.

Those sunglasses are cute and I have the feeling are not gonna go away anytime soon. XD

Annnnnnd we’re back to man boobs. XD I swear, this girl is as bad as Prompto.

Wait, I’m at the end? *blinks* How? This thing was 27 friggin pages long?! Damn, that went by fast. Fast for me anyways, given these are behemoth chapters. Either way, I really liked this chapter — but this mystery with Anna has me on my toes. And soon it’s Gramps’ birthday bash. Yikes.

Big fan of Lea making Xion apologize for her role in last chapter’s shenanigans. While I know this story is mostly focused on its lighthearted fluff, part of its hook is that Elsa is forced to navigate and cope with stressful situations despite her frankly near crippling case of anxiety. Being put in a position like that thanks to the intentional actions of someone you were coming to trust— not necessarily would, but quite certainly could genuinely traumatize someone like Elsa. Again, I recognize that’s not the sort of content this story’s about, but it nevertheless feels good to hear our lead characters make the two troublemakers regret their actions. Also plays into Lea’s whole big brother vibe, and that’s always nice.

For whatever reason, the mental image of Lea sitting at a table in a food court, surrounded by homework rooted really firmly in my brain. Makes me wish I knew the first thing about drawing and crap, ‘cause I bet a shot of these two fools studying together would be real cute.

And then we get to today’s irregularly scheduled hi-jinx: Saix, the sleepwalking werewolf(he totally is, by the way)! Lea’s description of his humble abode was already humorous, but his reactions to his brother unconscious nonsense had me in tears. Not to mention that Saix was apparently feeling particularly antagonistic in his dreams that day, as he goes to comical lengths to send our heroes to early, fright induced graves.

Also, explaining that he goes into a berserker rage if woken up in the midst of his sleepwalking both served the function of the scene well, in addition to being a clever reference.

Also also, I’ll never get tired of Elsa having one sided conversations with various anatomy, whether it be Lea’s stately man boobs or her own traitorous cheeks.

Also also also, I like how Elsa internally realizes how easily Lea manages to cut through her discomfort. Which is saying something, as this girl’s got more tension than a well oiled sprocket factory.

Lastly(also known as “Also also also ALSO”), while I hardly feel equipped to criticize anyone else’s aptitude or lack there of regarding the reading and interpreting of social cues, even I’m wincing at this miscall. Still, at least we got her to admit to herself the presence of the dreaded feelings, right? Every journey starts with mere single steps, as they say.

Character introductions galore I LOVE it I want to know all these side characters and the smart little nods to their franchises, this chapter is AMAZING.

- I really do feel for Elsa here, I also get super nervous meeting new people and *gasp* making SMALL TALK. Thank goodness she has Lea, king of smooth conversation and everyone's friend, on her side.
- Sora and out-of-his-league gf Kairi are my fave (sorry I am def biased here haha). They're so cute and comfortable together in their short scene. I'm also loving all these nicknames Lea gives everyone, it's definitely his thing with friends (which means Elsa is a friend cause she's El to him, right?!). And OmG NEKU! Gotta love my TWEWY cameos. As a reader I love seeing all these "familiar" faces but for Elsa, I imagine her being SUPER overwhelmed, you poor thing. Cause dang, this friend group is MASSIVE.

Aww sorry I'm a little reviewed out lmao, but I also immensely enjoyed reading this chapter! Just realized after I finished that I've been smiling this whole time. I love the fun, energetic vibe you've created while also recognizing Elsa's asocial tendencies. YES of course somehow Elsa and Lea are conveniently left alone, now it's time for ship moments galore! XD

Omg this fic is still so cute and I am all aboard this ride, show me all the fluff you have planned for us.

- I am always here for characters Googling their way out of social situations, tbh I consult the Internet sometimes too. XD But Elsa is totally right, making friends as an adult IS a skill, and any life hack is very much appreciated tyvm. Snitches DO get stitches, Kristoff's phone definitely deserved it lmao. I love Elsa getting all flustered and making these exaggerated reactions, I can almost picture it in my head. And these Chit-Chat Cheatsheet fails are GOLD, I literally cannot. Lea is actually so nice for going along with things for the most part, hoping he finds Elsa adorkable haha.
- ANNAAAAAAAAAAAA. I was not ready for her, and I'm so happy I wasn't. She reads EXACTLY like she does in Frozen, I love it. And she is also ABOARD THE SHIP YESSSSS. She's so excitable and supportive and obviously Elsa's No. 1 fan, I love their relationship so much already. Elsa really needs all the support she can get. OmG Kristoff just missed seeing Anna! But that's okay it'll be even more epic when they meet EHEHE.
- I love that Elsa's getting a little less self-conscious and better at this "people" business. Everytime she gets a little snarky with Lea, I do a little cheer. Yes, Elsa, Kristoff will get over his broken phone, that big baby. (Oh no I just read the hermit parade part lmao I spoke too soon. It actually makes sense she's not suddenly a people person and that the insecurities come back time to time, but I believe in you Elsa!)
- OmG it's so cute watching Lea's bigger than life personality and being an absolute dork in front of this cute girl. A lil disappointed he wasn't actually asking her out, but it makes sense that he's mainly being friendly at this point. Which I think Elsa needs! Ahh I'm starting to really see how Lea is good for her and helps bring Elsa out of her shell.
