well this seems to be quite a chapter as now we get a live, die, repeat time travel story to which I am really looking forward in seeing how they will go.

quite curious on when 2B and 9S talk about the whole executioner thing and get that whole conversation over with. its will be quite angsty and lovey dovey as expected, but best to get it over with as to not let it fester and get worse before the end.

Is A2 benefitting from this too? Because getting in touch with 2B and 9S at the first opportunity would probably be a good idea if she is. Although, assuming 2B and 9S's deaths resetting the timeline would affect her too, she'd probably be rather annoyed at them once she figures out what's happening, since they're likely to die a lot trying to achieve the best possible outcome.

Holy crap, this was way better than what I expected, you’ve certainly surpassed my expectations. Anyways, pretty great start to your story, and the very first of its kind as well, good luck on that. Still one of the biggest events that I’m hyped up for is meeting Adam again, will they attack him like before? Will they attempt to communicate? Adam was not inherently hostile when he was born unlike his fellow machines, so that might work. Anyways take my follow and my review. Let’s see where this goes. (It would be pretty awesome and meta if the reason that they traveled back is because of someone a player or something trying to alter ending E to give their save data to other people but keeping a backup copy of it)

Wouldn't be more acuarate say this is more like groundhog's day? Not to dis tom cruise movie or the manga/manwa but here you already put 9s on the loop like in bill murray movie, while in edge of tomorrow there is first a how he got on the loop and then a why. I feel the need to point out that A2 (and YoRHa as a whole for that matter) are definitely not centuries old. The first YoRHa androids was created in 11937, meaning they can only be eight years old as of the start of the game.

Other than that, though, I really love this idea! I've never read a NieR: Automata Groundhog Day story before, and it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
