Well, I guess it’s back to the real world for Skye’s family and Opal. I hope I get to see them again in future stories.

Overall, Shana, you did an outstanding job tying in the entire “Mario Power Tennis” opening movie within just TWO chapters.

My extended adaptation lasted for eleven subchapters, or about three and two thirds “whole chapters”. It was mainly because of extra dialogue and some drama behind the scenes.

The tournament as a whole was really tense given that Bowser nearly beat Luigi until the latter made a comeback. Not to mention Luigi getting slightly injured by Waluigi; makes sense for a rival to get even with his positive counterpart.

On top of that, the subplot of Mario and Luigi dealing with the “foot-stomping” conflict was the cherry on the cake. That was my favorite part. Again, I’m so happy the Bros are putting the bad moments behind and living their happy lives. But you never know what could happen in the future.

My rating for “Game, Set, and Match” is 9.4 out of 10. Absolutely incredible.

And you’re welcome, Shana. I feel that working together makes a fanfic more interesting as opposed to a “one-man band” rushing without thinking it through.

Thankfully, I did not cry while reading this chapter. And I feel so relieved that Mario and Luigi are officially good with each other.

Finally, a brotherly bond has endured pain near the end of this story, but has managed to reconcile and remain unbroken. A truly heartwarming story. Just one more chapter to see what will happen after the events of this story.

Looks like Mario got emotional from trauma and guilt...next chapter, Luigi will help Mario and both brothers will reconcile with each other.

Mario’s still guilty of what he did. I don’t blame him, really. This reminds me of Nintendoscript15’s “A Twisted Tennis Tournament” when Alex was emotional when he beat Luigi in the singles tournament.

I guess it’ll take a Mario awhile to get over the emotional trauma, but if one thing’s for sure, it’s that the two bros will always be there for each other until the end of time.

Well, congratulations to the Bros on officially winning the tournament.

And I knew that Mario's guilt would take over right as the ceremony commenced. That bottle just broke, you know. It was building up with pressure during the final match and Mario heard it shatter just as he touched the trophy.

But things will go back to normal for real in the next one.

Well you know what, looking at this, I'm happy that Luigi is willing to forgive Mario for his selfish actions towards him, and still loves his brother. Mario truly regrets ruining his brother's moment in the spotlight after all, and in the end, a bond between siblings should reconcile and grow stronger than ever before...

It’s good to know that Luigi is beginning to forgive Mario. Both of those two were certainly suffering in different ways after that experience. I hope they win the doubles!

Hope the bros can fix their brotherly bond and work together in the doubles tournament.

This was even more dramatic on Luigi’s side, I gotta tell you. He was just angry dancing and exercising to release his rage, which I think is a good method to cope with it all.

I’m looking forward to that second conference to restore the match, but most of all, I can’t wait for the official reconciliation between the Bros. I actually might cry while reading that eventual chapter.
