To be completely honest, the way they wrote Luke and Emily's first episode together felt like they were setting them up for a relationship and while I'm SO HAPPY for the ending relationship each one had at the end of season fifteen (no spoilers because maybe not everyone seen it), it has been one of my favorite crackships since then, another "what if and what might've been" with Emily.

I haven't seen a wholesome Luke and Emily fic yet, and while this took on a completely different path, I could definitely see it happening if only the writers had the guts to do it because the chemistry is there.
