also, i wonder if they’re going to try to preserve their identities.. i bet the kids other than makoto wouldn’t really care, but sojiro would definitely pound the importance of secret identities into their heads
i guess that if they choose to do that, ren would have to pretend not to be a direct ,,tho it would probably be a pain to pull off
also, if none party members needs a code name/alias for helping with business, might i suggest:
gecko for iwai, boss/chief for sojiro, general(as in the shogi piece) for hifumi, control (in reference for being the one controlling the technical crap of and technically being the one to control who they target via phandom site) for mishima, maiden/madame (becaus madame just sounds dope, and she’s a MAID—) for kawakami, doc for takemi, king for shinya (but then again idk how anyone would use a grade schooler for this), titan for yoshida, scribe/scout for ohya, sibyl for chihaya—
i went way off topic there wHOOPS but anyways i love persona crossover fics because there aRENT ENOUGH OF THEM but actually writing is a pain in the ass :/

Why not use the Source or the Presence to add in the story? Also one of the reasons why Darkseid came back was due to the Source Wall, which is connected back to humanity.

call me sadistic but I would like to see the phantom thieves take on a super villain in the real world and probably get beaten bad (until one of them or some of them might unlock a metagene a d turns the tide)

Well, there is the Source...

Okay let me start this off by saying how much I LOVE this idea, I mean the Light is pretty much untochable throughout Young Justice to the point that them spilling their guts out in live television is pretty much the only way they would start panicking, so seeing the Phantom Thieves enter the scene brings into the fray a very interesting situation now that they can't quite predict their opponents since they, probably, don't know about the Metaverse. But I have a couple of questions that I wanna know about the broader strokes.

First off what are Darkseid, Doctor Fate and Klarion? In the SMT/Persona continuities there are no Gods, all of them are made by humanity's collective subconscious, so is it that they are alien, made of said subonscious, or a combination of the two?

Second what is the state of the Phantom Thieves' Personas? Scramble said that because they spent some time away from the Metaverse their resolve faded and their Personas weakened but I call bs because SEES still maintain their Ultimate Personas, and also Maruki reduced their resolve to zero and they were not only fine, they got their Third Awakening. There's also Joker's Personas, while I can understand the story structure might be easier if he starts out from zero again, this time the Phantom Thieves will be dealing with enemies that fight the likes of Superman or Wonder Woman, the kind of enemies that need equal force like Satanael, Lucifer, Alice, Yoshitsune, Izanagi-no-Okami, etc.

And third what is going to happen to Ren's profile in the police? The Police Department know who he is and if they do, then the Light will take minutes to figure out who he is and send assassins after him and the rest of the thieves, so that's a pretty glaring weakness to have.
