To bad this story will never have a finishing chapter.
On the other hand it won't probably end well for Buffy and Legolas. Buffy is needed on Earth and Legolas is needed in Middle Earth.

But still I wanted to read more

One of the more well-characterized and well-written crossover pieces I've ever read. I find I absolutely adore Buffy and Legolas together, and rather ache at the whole doomed-ness of it all. I'm still hoping for a happy ending somewhere far far (sequel past sequel) into the future, but I admire that you've made character choices true to canon - they've both got their own epic storylines to get to, people to save, baddies to eviscerate. But if you're reading this review? Please, consider finishing this story. It's a shame to leave something so lovely undone.

Great job with this fic, I'm really enjoying it. But it makes me so sad that they'll both choose "duty over love"! :-( It's so rare to find a crossover that's plausible, well written, and with great characterizations. So keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to more!

I have to say, this is one of those few crossovers that actually sound like all the characters. I really like this story, and have caught it off and on. Hope you continue writing to this story, it's a great idea. Funny I don't like Legolas with a lot of female characters, and not because I'm jealose, it's because how most people write the female that turns me off. With Buffy it just seems right, I love it. So keep up the beautiful work and hopefully will see a nother chapter here pretty soon!

I'm so happy you updated. You have no idea. I had to re-read Ripple Effect and the The Bittersweet over again before I reviewed. Several times in the past couple years I tried to find this fic and the one that came before it again, but I couldn't remember their names. Or what site they were on. I wasn't even sure what fic this was when I saw the update notice in my email. I don't even remember putting on my story alert.

Wow. It's been six years since this story came out. I got into Ripple Effect when I was still in high school.

Wonderful story. Please *please* don't wait so long for an update.
