It's good

Just confused on a small matter, if Elizabeth becomes ill when she is near Barbosa, how is she still healthy when he stands right behind her? Otherwise a great story, I absolutely love it!

Oh wow. This is ... Very dramatic. Lots of angst and action and drama.
And then an evil cliffie at the end. Well, I am going to go look for that "part II".
I really liked this story; it wasn't just a normal "good guy tries to kill bad guy" story. It showed the tremendously difficult mental battle that poor Will suffered through.
It showed the terrible struggle Elizabeth dealt with, what with being pregnant, ill, and a possessed husband.
I'm super sad that Norrington died ... I was beginning to like him. But oh well ... He went down with a bang, a noble man he was indeed.
Loved this story.
Now - where's that sequel?

This chapter was as well written as the others, but still I enjoyed the humor.
