A nice, romantic, Sai Kaede fic. Slightly surprised at the focus is on their Angelic Layer relationship. I worried it might talk about the future implied in Chobits.

Concerning the other reviews posted about Sai being OOC, I didn't see that problem to much. Since most of the story takes place in Sai thoughts, we really don't know what she really thinks, however we do know that Sai feels especially close to Kaede because Kaede was the only one there for her after Rin died. Concerning the somewhat 'rash' measures where Sai caresses Kaede, that is also inline with the story. In a later episode of the anime series, Sai takes Misaki's hand without the slightest for-thought, as far as I could tell. I can see Sai expressing emotions somewhat uncontrollably, she has hidden them away for much her life after Rin's death.

One thing I would like to note is that I believe Rin was still alive when Sai met Kaede. At least, that is what I get from the anime.

Overall, characters are pretty much in character. Sai is pretty close, the only thing I see possibly mostly OOC is her blushing. she usually doesn't show facial emotions. Keep up the good work, I go on to review all the other shoujo-ai fics for Angelic Layer on FFnet
