Hey, this is years late, and I have no idea if you will ever read this, but I wanted to drop a review.

I really enjoyed how you portrayed Gary, and somehow managed to get into his head; this rivalry that was born from a friendship that CHANGED. He was certainly an arrogant arse in the pokéani, but you captured how he became that way - no one is born that mean - and how he eventually rose above it.

Professor Oak would definitely have understood and seen what Gary could not at first; maybe he went through that many years ago as Sammy himself...
