I thought this story was so beautiful and yet somehow heartbreaking when it was first published. And, even now, it is still one I return too time after time and it still has the same effect on me.

That was such a well written story the only thing i didnt like lol probably only coz im a HUGE carby fan was that they hadnt made up like gotten back together ... If that ever happens in ER im gonna be stuffed i dunno what id do coz they r just made for eachother and are the best! Great story though i really enjoyed it!

Totally loved the story even though I hope that in ten years they will be together. Hehe. You should write another chapter and have Abby's letter to Carter. Or not...it's a great story either way.

Excellent story. I thought the dialogue was extremely well depicted and I could see Carter and Abby talking to each other like that. As the audience keeps praying Carter's safe return, we can't help but wonder if it will turn out like that. Great job.

ok first of all loved ur story but this better not happen in er cause id die abby and carter r meant for one another...but a truely loved ur story it had me in tears if that sounds crazy!
