A great alternative ending! Seriously, this entire story has been heartwarming. I appreciate how much work must have gone into it. Soul Calibur II for the gamecube is my favorite game in the series (Cane Of Byrna all the way), and it's amazing to me that you worked on this for NINE YEARS, not too long after it came out, right?

Undead... how I hate the undead...

Aeon! Seeing as, or well if I recall right, he is your favorite character, he made a very good entrance. Though, I doubt Astaroth died from the fall. If anything, he may simply be injured. Though I'm interested to see what happens with Link and Aeon.

That gamble seems rather fatuous. I cannot stress that enough, though I do like it. Or I may be borderline insane myself...who knows...though a giant lizardman would be rather interesting to see in-game. Aeon vs. Lizardman with both bearing very different attacks which the only one in common would be the fire-breathing. Ah, it would be interesting. Though way to go for unintentionally killing the beast Sohpitia; because if it were not for that strike, I do believe they would be screwed. I say that because the beast was rather intelligent-It did after all stare at the ice after it deflected the arrow in disbelief which shows immense intelligence as well as for the fact that it bears its human (assuming things with Fygul and all) memories. Nicely done.
