Hidari chapter 3 . 9/11/2018
Her knight is totally flirting with her! Off with his head!
Hidari chapter 1 . 9/11/2018
A male knight in the young princess's bedroom while she's in her night gown? Highly inappropriate. Other than that it seems a good start.
lemnlime7 chapter 20 . 3/4/2017
There were a lot of things I didn't like about this fic. For one, I don't see why the characters are speaking like they're Irish/pirates/whatever with the "ayes" and whatnot. Plus, they speak in an overly formal way which is strange. That and other annoying things made it impossible for me to suspend disbelief
Whimsical Acumen chapter 20 . 12/11/2015
Isn't there that one other person who knew of Silvanna's existence? And therefore, it wouldn't end with Link, but with both of them? I mean, I'm down with him hiding the painting and everything, but dang. He wasn't kidding about apologizing for his pride.

That being said, this was a nice, short tale revolving around Link and Zelda and I am glad to have come across it. While some of the descriptors I felt overly flowery, I felt you did a good job at capturing the tone of the time in which the characters existed. They did not feel modern, and they shouldn't. And within those constraints, you were able to capture the playful flirting Zelda and Link shared, and furthermore, their love.

I'm glad for you to have finished this tale [though admittedly your ending note has confused me, does this mean it wasn't initially the end?], and wish you well, and happy writing if you still partake.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 19 . 12/11/2015
Ah, I see what you did there with her line. Well played ;)

Good on Zelda for her words, as really, her heart is not Link's responsibility but her own. For him to claim otherwise is rather ... ridiculous. Self-important. Like buddy, you're not THAT important, and she's not that fragile. Chill. Make out in peace :P

And boy, I'm eager for the final chapter
Whimsical Acumen chapter 18 . 12/11/2015
Okay, Link, you're doing the melodrama. Hardcore. What matters is that Zelda is safe. Not everything is your fault, and it isn't as if you didn't try to combat Iain and Silvanna.

I'm going on to the next chapter, leave you in your stupid martyrdom.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 17 . 12/11/2015
I like what you did here, with the advice Link provided for Zelda. Because it is true, what she did was petty and dishonest, and without care for her daughter: supposedly the union of her "love." I do find it odd Link continues to not tell her the truth, given that she does have a right to know, but considering the crime, it does not matter. As much.

I don't know, if I were Zelda, I would feel rather betrayed not to have been told the truth. Especially if the truth followed my giving the order for execution
Whimsical Acumen chapter 16 . 12/11/2015
Okay, see, this is what I'm talking about. She was able to kill the king that easily? Guards! Step up your game!

Poor Link, he gets no respect. Throwing him to the dungeons... At least Zelda is awake now to correct things.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 15 . 12/11/2015
Holy crap, both Iains are dead. Wow. Just wow.

Link, you're a little useless. Granted, you've been wounded, but shit son. You've taken on way worse baddies than them when you were way younger. You're rusty, bro.

I'm glad the guards arrived before she could kidnap Zelda. It would not have been enjoyable watching that plot play out.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 14 . 12/11/2015
Huh - is the queen thinking that Iain Klave is the Hero of Time mistakenly, and that is why they have a right to the ocarina? Or is it simply that she feels she has the right to it as she was born to royalty, not the king? So many variables here.

I'm glad Link managed to stumble across the dying guard - and I still stand by my earlier complaint. There should be more people on staff.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 13 . 12/11/2015
Oh thank you for that. I grant you, their coming together was worth the wait. How sweet his declaration.

Then of course, right after mother dearest has dropped in on the princess. I am confused how she could treat her daughter with so little compassion, but perhaps she is simply misguided and trying to aid her. Somehow I doubt it.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 12 . 12/11/2015
Cute flirting right there - and it's nice that Link knows how Zelda feels now and intends to tell her, but dang. While he's off planning and daydreaming, poor Zelda is feeling sad, confused, and rejected. Link, you dummy.

Dang. The queen is back in the tower? And no one noticed? And it's not even night time? Come on, it's been nearly two decades and they haven't changed the patterns in the watch of the guard during that entire time? Or are their defenses really that awful. Come on, guys.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 11 . 12/11/2015
Interesting plot twist you have provided us with. It's a good thing Link is not one to tell secrets, or speak all the much.

Ah, there's this little typo/addition of words I wish you would go back in, edit and remove, for it detracts somewhat from the lovely description you write when Link is admiring Zelda. A bit of a shame there.

Otherwise, the interactions were cute, though I'm not quite sure why Link ran off, unless it was a roundabout method of flirting.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 10 . 12/11/2015
A snipe? She called him a snipe? Out of all words to end with in that array of frustrated expressions, that was not the one I expected. Deciding whether or not I hold a complaint on that.

Daaang Link has some cajones to call out the king in such a manner. But hey, he's all about that courage so it is pretty fitting.

Well played with the "when would be most opportune for you to marry my daughter?" line. That was funny.
Whimsical Acumen chapter 9 . 12/11/2015
Huh, is mother dearest alive? Interesting little potential plot twist there.

I like how you wrote the last little scene, even though that's quite the clumsiness for a Hero of Time. There was something poetic about the means in which you timed the rings breaking and him lowering bit by bit.
