This is a lovely tri-parted book of Wendy and J. Hook, and my heart smiled reading your ending words when I remembered that the unforgettable, so vivid Mr. Alan Rickman plays Hook in 'An Awfully Big Adventure.' -
I hope you quietly mean to give your Wendy and Hook a much more pleasant life than he is given in the film, which
I adored every part of -it is poetic and gritty like life. -
Please write more Wendy and Hook, even in a London flat they have such sparks around themselves - the delights of love that is answered.

I don't know if you will ever see this, hereswith, since it's a decade since you wrote this, but I want to thank you for this story. It's such a pleasure to read fanfiction that not only has a fine story to tell, but tells it well - on the most basic level, it's a blessed change not to itch to get the correcting pen out! I love your depiction of James Hook and his inner life, your physical descriptions, and his escape and hope for life, rather than just existence, at the end. Yes, my focus is far more on him than on Wendy, since redemption for originally tragic characters (particularly when they happen to look like this) is my favourite sort of alternative ending. Bravo!

I read this story for the first time... oh gosh, at least eight years ago, maybe even ten when you first wrote it. Out of no-where, I had a compulsion to read it, and I started applying filters to like you wouldn't believe. I'm very happy to have found it again. I always thought the ending seemed the most fitting, and your Wendy and Hook seem more realistic than other portrayals. Thank goodness you left this story up! It's been a terrible itch for the past week!

This story was incredible. I always kind of imagined Wendy grew up and married some version of Hook. This story was wonderful in the way it bridged Peter's Wendy and Wendy's Wendy.
