I read your story in one go. It's a good story.

You've captured the characters' personalities perfectly. From Mio's mood shifting between optimistic and snappy attitude towards Mayu, and Mayu's crybaby and self-deprecation tendencies, feeling like a burden because her leg's unfortunate condition. The only thing that I don't expect is Mio and Mayu kissing, and last time I checked, it's on the lips! Normally, I would berate you senseless for this unexpected yuri moments. Fortunately, I assume it's 'only' a sign to express their bond to each other as siblings, and thankfully it does not turn into full-blown body contact.

I don't know if you put some dialogues straight from the game, but rest assured, it made your story much more convincing. The 'snappy moment' dialogues when Mio is finally sick with Mayu's constant apologies made me aching inside, but it's not overly melodramatic.

Your description about places in Minakami (All Gods in English) Village is pretty much spot on. Is it only me or there's not a scene in graveyard where Mio fighting Broken-Neck Woman? That particular scene and ghost is still haunting me until this day.

As a battle with ghosts, I hope you make battle against Chitose Tachibana a bit longer. Even until the latest Fatal Frame V, I heard that her ability to make the screen almost pitch black is the one and only.

I see that you decided to end this story with "The Promise" ending. Unfortunately, I don't have X-Box to play Director's Cut version. With a help from Fatal Frame wiki, I got the basic idea of that ending.

It's a shame that Tecmo decided to release FF IV and FF V in Nintendo consoles. Frankly speaking, it's a bad idea, considering that Nintendo has regional-lock system in their consoles, which, if I'm not mistaken, meaning we must purchase Japanese-manufactured console to play the game. Apparently, many people complained about the shipping cost.

My favorite chapters in this story are Chapter 4, when Kusabi first appeared, and Final Chapter, the final showdown with Kusabi. And my favorite character is Kusabi. Could you guess why? Because I have a reason, and a very good one at that. Take a very good look at my username, and you will get your answer.

I couldn't put the story as a favorite as I'm not in love with the story-like almost head over heels for the story, but I do think that your story is great and WOW!
It must be hard for you to reach the end, but I love the story enough to think that its one of those great stories I've read! XD

I was wondering what ending you were going to choose, and I must say, you did excellent in mixing them together. You also impressed me with the well-described fights and the feelings of terror, and how exactly the ghosts "hurt" Mio when they attack her. All in all, this was a short, but sweet read.

I was Mayu Amakura for a Anime Convention once. I had a Crimson Butterfly clip in my hair. I remember when I played Fatal Frame 2. I was so scared that I didn't even find the Camera Obscura! But years have pasted and I've completed Fatal Frame V (5): Mask of the Lunar Eclipse and I've became more brave. I am ready to play Fatal Frame 2 when it comes out for Wii (they are making a remake for Wii and the Fatal Frame 2 I playd was on Gamecube)

Just finished reading through the whole story. The way you wrote out the game out was so good! I loved this ) I also liked the fact that you combined the endings together and still had the good ending! Great job!

I was wondering which ending you would go for. I half-way expected you to do the worst ending. Very well done. I love the charcter detail, and you explained almost everything that happens, with the newspaper articles and stuff. I read this story once, long ago, and I was pleased when I checked back that you had finished it. It was very well done and I enjoyed it.
