this captures how the others seem to treat izzy with extreme accuracy, and i loved it! get a sequel plz. I was reminded of my fave izzy episode in guardian angel where Tai didnt tell izzy about it.

I had actually watched those last few season 1 episodes recently as well, so the events were fresh in my mind when I read this.
In all fairness with the magic hankie incident, however, Izzy [i]was[/i] already on the trapeze before Piedmon entered the room, so it's more of a case that he wasn't in a physical position to fight rather than any of the others stopping him. However, it wasn't until I read this fic that I actually realized that Izzy was the only one not directly standing up to Piedmon when he was transformed.
One incident which you didn't mention that would have fit very well into this fic would have been from "Guardian Angel" in season 2, when Izzy confronted Tai about his role as part of the team. Perhaps another vignette expanding on that event could be in order?
