You're probably long gone by now, living your life somewhere but in the off chance that you decide to check up on your old writing here in FF I wanted to make sure you'd stumble across this review, though its more of an appreciation post really.

I've always been a Zelinker at heart, but every now and then I expand my readings to other possible pairings. In the recent years we've seen more and more BotW fics and less of the classics. It's understandable given the passing of time, with this site now shifting to a new generation of readers. I grew up reading some amazing OoT fanfics and for a while there I felt like the magic was gone. In a desperate attempt at finding some hidden gems I shifted my search to Malink pairing and I'm really glad I did.

Your story is simply amazing. The amount of detail and thought into your description of every minor action and scene does not go unnoticed. I'm sure you went through some pains and roadblocks. We all do. Yet I could see the discipline and care you took to each individual chapter. I really wanted to highlight that part and congratulate you on a job well done.

The characters felt real, alive, and most importantly relatable. As a reader you can't help but fall in love with Malon. She is strong, passionate, stubborn, yet adorable and vulnerable at times. You really feel like you're going through the hardships with her and that is a feat I've yet to accomplish with my own characters. Hell, even Ingo's character was interesting to follow, though I have mixed feelings about him becoming a stereotypical maniacal villain at the end there. The intense fight scene made it all worth it though.

The scenery was breathtaking. Unless you grew up in a ranch I assume you took your time and did your homework on how they operate. Once again, the daily life of Link and Malon felt real and at times I could feel myself immersed in the sounds and smells of farm life.

I could ramble on forever but I assume you get the point. The story was amazing and I'm sure this is one I won't soon forget. Thank you for bringing my nostalgia a little bit of happiness there and I hope you consider continuing a future in writing.

Uh oh, Malon's drunk

This has been a fantastic read. I'm so glad I found this when I did and was able to enjoy it from beginning to end in one go.
The story was very well written and had a very nice flow to it.
Characters felt real and you made me feel what they felt.

A great fan story with sprinkles off in-game magic, mechanics and items, and one that I will return to several times over the years for an enjoyable re-read.

This story kept me up after midnight. I realy liked how you portrayed link and malon's relationship so inocently, unlike many other authors. I only disliked one chapter, the one where malon got drunk and a lot of suggestive material make me uncomfortable. The character development was meaningful, and I really fell in love with your characters. Except Ingo, obviously. Your writing style is captivating and I couldn't stop reading. Great story. I really enjoyed it. :)

This story is amazing! I enjoyed reading it and the way the author writes is normally not seen in sites like this. I just wanted to share my love for this story, and praise your writing, keep up the great work.
