Thank you, for giving Rin her voice back and standing up to that tyrant, I can't believe he had the audacity to use her and expect her to still stay with him knowing that someday he will take another and more or less force her to watch him form a life with someone else, and still use her for physical pleasure, but Rin put a firm stop to it and said enough is enough, very well done, this really deserves to have a sequel to explain what happened after this final confrontation went down.

Well that didn't end the way I had hoped but at least Rin grew a spine and stopped allowing him to continue using her as a sex toy, he may claim to love her in his own mind, but when you love someone you don't expect them to keep taking abuse and mistreatment while the abuser sits back and absorbs love and respect that they clearly don't deserve.

Pretty please continue this amazing and totally captivating story, now that Rin's eyes have been opened I can't see her staying in a place where she has no place.

Wait so for 8 years Inuyasha didn't make a choice between Kagome and Kikyo, 8 YEARS. 8 years Kagome spent hoping Inuyasha would possibly choose between her and Kikyo, she spent 8 years hoping that Inuyasha would possibly choose her 8 YEARS she spent watching the guy she loved deeply running off to a undead clay doll all the while holding out hope for NEARLY A DECADE that the guy she loves could love her back...that is some dedicated love and patience there Inuyasha should count his lucky stars that Kagome still loved him after almost a decade of him being indecisive between her and Kikyo.

Rereading this after a few years and the fight with Naraku has been going on for 8 years and just now realizing that INUYASHA has for 8 YEARS NOT CHOSEN BETWEEN KIKYO AND KAGOME until now. Kagome held out hope for 8 years (15-22) hoping he would make a choice between them that she stayed in a sort of love triangle, for 8 YEARS SHE WAITED FOR HIM TO MAKE CHOICE while her heart was constantly yo yo-ed 8 YEARS she spent hoping he would choose her, 8 YEARS almost a decade, damn that's some dedication on Kagome's part, any other girl would have given up years ago and tried to find love elsewhere. Inuyasha should count himself ABSOLUTELY lucky that Kagome was still in love with him after 8 years of indecision by him and his idiocy.

I know this fic is sooo very old and already abandoned. However, I still wish that the author would be able to read this review/comment.
That last line is really ominous, cause they all left forever, as you've left this fic.
The angst in here is soo strong that I feel heart-broken. The odds were stocked sooo high against Rin and Sesshomaru and the rest of the gang, that it might have become too difficult to write and give everyone closure.
With the recent announcement of the sequel, there's a new tide of support and interest in the IY fandom, and like others I'm obsessing about Rin and Sesshomaru. Looking for fics old and new to feed my obsession.
Anyways, I hope life is doing good for you. This fic is really well written and I love how bold each characters are. Although, I'm not gonna lie, that I felt torn whenever you've paired Sesshomaru with Kagura, it hurts. Well, I'm off to look for other fics...

I never thought that it would be wonderful and in a way exciting if Rin did grow up with Totosai. Yes, unconventional but she would have gained a doting grandfather who would not cower under Sesshomaru.
It's really entertaining seeing Sesshomaru bristling and aggitated by simple goads from Totosai.

I read the one in media miner and I must say, it was absolutely perfect!
The tone, the writing and the characterization. I love every word of it.
Even those awkward, stilted pauses. It drives home that it is their first.

Poor Inuyasha. Has he grown senile? Non of his inuyokai functioning? That's actually a funny scene reminding me of the many times Sesshomaru resorted to just slugging him a good one.

This is really heart-wrenching. First time for me to encounter reading a plot like this. I need time in-between chapters to get my bearings back.

I seriously regret reading this. Now I have all this unresolved angst with no sign of resolution. Great story! My heart still hurts many hours after I've finished reading. I hope you finish this one day.

Since you're not going to finish this, just tell us: Does Sesshomaru finally give Rin everything she wants?

Please for the love of everything holy finish this story, I would love to read about Rin leaving him for good and going on her own path and finding someone else that deserves her, lord knows the poor girl has been through enough hell to last a life time, maybe Rin might find a Hanyou since she herself is neither human anymore and not really Youkia but like a mixture, so a Hanyou would be a good match for her, but not Dog, maybe a Kitsune Hanyou or Neko Hanyou, just a thought.

Pretty Pretty Please draw this story to a well deserved close, and let Rin find her happy ending.

Not digging the abusive sess but will carry on a few chapters to see how it goes.

Dunno with as old as this is if you read your reviews if you ever come back to this story the battle scene needs paragraphs. It’s a good start so far. Can’t wait to read more.
