One of the best Harm/Mac Shipper stories I've seen on the site. (I started out as a shipper). Nice to see Mac get her head out of her six about Harm. That "There'll never be an us..." bit from Mac was what turned me from a shipper to a Harm/Other writer. TPTB really turned her into a... OK...I'll refrain from snarking at the TPTB, but they sure didn't make me happy about what they did to Mac during the course of the series.

You put Harm through hell with Sadik. Oh...that torture sequence was great. Not so much for Harm, but in a literary sense. Like they say in writing... Put your characters through hell and they'll come out the other end, stronger... well, unless you turn around and kill 'em. :D ~evil laughter~

You should have killed off Krennick as well - she is way past her "use by" date!

I hope someone thought to make a note at the nurses desk that NOONE was to ever tell the colonel to go home while patient Rabb was still in that room.

It's taken me too long to finish this, but I have! I liked the way Webb died. Any death as a result of his drinking was fitting. As always, the Harm and Mac interaction was great and the proposal was excellent. I also loved how you included minor characters such as Bud, Harriet, Little AJ, Beth and Jack. And you threw in Krennick. *snickers* Her characterization was perfect! Anywho, great story and great ending! Looking forward to more of your work!
