Awww that's so sweet! Of course Legolas would go to find the necklace - anything for Estel! And I love how you showed the strong friendship bond Legolas and Estel shared, and they had realistic and true feelings, guilt, sadness, anger, distress, hope, worry, love. So sweet.

I was re-reading this story and I finally figured it out. It was there when I first read it, but I only just now realized what was wrong with this. While the you did the characters very well, it's not typical of Legolas or Aragorn. I can't see Legolas just taking that verbal abuse, then crying himself to sleep. And I also cannot picture Aragorn unable to summon the courage to simply knock on the door. Not the Future King of Gondor, Ranger Cheiftain, and all around manly-man. No offense, but you can tell this was definitely written by a girl. Legolas may be a high-maintenence elf, but I doubt he'd take the time to brush his hair when Aragorn's pendant was out there. Or Aragorn crying for himself in his bedroom while his friend bleeds to death. But the plot was incredible and the imagery is super.
