I know it's late having just found this story but hate finding good stories like this just for it to be abandoned any chance of you continuing it? :-)

I'm really impressed with this story. You make us feel Ryan's panic and disorientation so intensely. I found myself getting so angry with the cops and the doctors for not understanding and for frightening him even more than he already was. I know that that probably is the way that the police would deal with an uncooperative suspect, but given his obvious injuries, and the fact that he's meant to be the victim, you'd hope that they'd deal with him with a bit more compassion and care. Couldn't they see that they're dealing with a deeply traumatised kid? Surely, his reaction should have had alarm bells ringing, and pointed them to the possibility that he'd been sexually assaulted this time? It's very cleverly written, because you don't actually tell us what happened to Ryan with AJ when he was little, but we can glean it from the reactions he has to all the hands, and being tied down (and from his initial reaction to AJ outside the crabshack, his total submission). So awful! I loved the chapter about permission. The doctor is doing the right thing by taking it step by step and explaining what they're doing. He's giving him back some semblance of control. But it's understandable that he hates the questioning. That he has to keep giving them 'permission to hurt him'. The scene where Kirsten charges in to defend her 'son' is lovely. She fights for him like she would Seth and he sees that they haven't abandoned him. How sad that he doubted them so quickly, but then his whole life has taught him that people just abandon him and hurt him, so why would he expect any different? I liked the doctor's reaction to the Cohen's. He's so relieved that Ryan has good people to look out for him, and he's right, having family that loves him by his side made all the difference. Just loved this story! Well done! :-)

I just found this story, and I love it. Poor, poor Ryan, hopefully Kirsten and Sandy will found evertyhing out and help him. I can't wait for more!

In a few days time it will be nearly SEVEN YEARS since you've updated this story. And that's a shame, because this is really amazing. I get s sad when I read an abandoned story, but i still thought I'd drop you a few lines to tell you how much I enjoyed what you have up so far.

Ok i know it's been 6years an everythin, but please write the rest! I really wanna know what Ryan does! Will he go to the police an tell them what AJs plannin an he gets arrested? Or does he do what AJ told him? Please continue!
