I think I've learned more about Norse mythology from this story than from school. xP Humor aside, though, this was an amazing story you've written. The realism in Loki's and Mayura's relationship and the way they all matured was intensely interesting to read about. One or two chapters, I confess, can't quite be called chapters and the abruptness did break the flow a bit but, overall, I think you've done well incorporating the myths (as we know it) into MaLoRa and putting your own spin on it as well. Thus, I applaud your efforts in writing such a great story and I thank thee for the entertainment. :)

As one person studying Japanese to another, I'd like to point out a few things with your sentence. Actually, hanasu and hanashimasu are both present tense. hanasu is what's called dictionary form, and hanashimasu is what's called masu form. Dictionary form is more casual/informal than masu form. Also, chotto should go before nihongo. You can use sukoshi the same way as chotto.
