Why? Because you told the truth? HE IS A MANIPULATIVE OLD CODGER! He manipulated Harry from the time he was orphaned! I mean placing a child with the Dursleys who was magical was good? Dumbledor's just lucky they didn't kill him! He was warmed by Minerva that the Dursleys were unsuitable to raise Harry but he insisted that it was best for Harry. Yeah right! He wanted Harry NOT to know true love of a parent for a child. After all, he did it with Riddle didn't he?
