I absolutely love the idea of a Skinner-Elizabeth romance, even though at first I found the idea of it a little strange. But, the Tom-Elizabeth parts are always excellent too, so who ever you chose for her, I don't think I'll be dissapointed.

I love the subtle Henry-Mina comments, and how Elizbeth calls Hyde, Edward now. Off to read the next one! Once again, great story.

Heh. I'm slowly working on catching up with everything! I've got to admit that I really enjoyed this one because of my intense fascination with ancient Egypt. I love all the details that you gave and having an Egyptian vampire turn into a scarab was pure genius!

Who...doesn't kiya remind you of Anack-su-namun from "the Mummy" and "the mummy returns"...free-khee.

Sorry, just had to say that. Great storyline, absoluteley...riveting! couldn't stop reading it!

How fitting that my name is signed in with my 'vampyr' account... hmm. Anyway, coincidences aside, this was a spectacular volume/chronicle. Adored it muchly! I'm loving Elizabeth, really, and I'm so glad I get to read them all in one sitting. They flow so much nicer that way, instead of broken up, I think. I loved all the vampire business, mainly because I'm a sci-fi supernatural freak, hence my fandoms and love of LXG... oh hell, you know what I'm saying. BRAVO! Can't wait to read volume I *wink*

Another good entry in your diary of Miss Elizabeth Quatermain. I enjoy how you put detail into your fic. You obviously do a bit of research such as for the museum being closed, and the archelogical aspects of the story dealing with Egypt.

Here I am. I feel really bad for not keeping up with you as you posted chapters but I couldn't get on and you did it all so quickly. You're too organised.

Anyhoo, it was a very good story...obviously. The plot was intruigin and a nice blend of the sort of Gothic and Egyptian factors. I think you got the adaptions just right. I admit you surprised me with the vampire being female that was an interesting twist and it was different that she went after Tom.

You brought up several interesting points in the story, Mina's past, references to religion, Mina's immortality. I really liked all the little things you picked up on and your references to the originals. I'm not bothering to check all your Egyptian references, knowing you they'll all be perfect.

I want to thank you for allowing me a preview of you first chapter it made me feel very special. Good luck with your further installments. I promise I'll try and do chapter by chapter reviews then.

Yay! Skinner is a hero twice now! I wonder though, does Elizabeth know that he once saved Sawyers life? Cause that would be a good twist if she didn't and then find out later after this incident! Can't wait for more!
