hm, very interesting how you combined the theme of death punishment for the salem witch trials (not medieval, they merely had their heads chopped off). yes...puritans were not very bright back then, my favorite one is where they tie the supposed "witch" to a log and hurl it over a cliff. if s/he truly was a witch, s/he would use h/her powers to save his/herself.

coincidentally, none flew to save themselves. XD

No N/K doesn't seem to be too popular but it's different and that's why i like it. I really hope the fact that even though not too many people like the idea of Kagome and Naraku will discourage you from completing this story. It's a shame to see a story get started and then just dropped so quickly.
