Completely Sephiroth. Very much so. I think Doubleblade summed the thing up for me and all I can say - this is grand and to the point, perfectly.

This was... Umm... Are you sure you haven't somehow managed to form a connection through space and time and write down excatly what Sephiroth thinks? You sure? Well, this sure seemed like it.

There were few lined that were just so fitting, I would imagine those would be his thoughts to some of the fics there is around... I plead guilty to blind adoration and you have no idea how bad that makes me feel. I was accually answering to his lines outloud. Who would offer him redemption? He doesn't need it, there is nothing to be redeemed in him, he is not a fallen angel and yes, why be a angel when he can be a God? No, it isn't insanity, it's freedom, it's living, that's where I agree with him, and many of the other points for that matter. He doens't need us, but we need him, in a way a worshipper needs their God, uncaring whether the God is aware of them or not...

Umm... Yeah, this affected deeply to the way I think of Sephiroth and my overall thoughts concerning him have cleared consireably now. And yes, oh yes, I have serious problems and obsession with Sephiroth. It's scary. But it's Sephiroth. Thank you for this, made me think.

There are always 2 sides of a story - and this is definitely Sephiroth's side. :D Not a fall at all, but an ascendancy to freedom it was and to a new world of his design. I think that we put too much faith into human categories and while they are very valid and very true for us, humans, categorizing and judging someone like Sephiroth by them is quite false.

It's like trying to judge a human being from an ant's point of view.

I love this one-shot -

I've read it a few times because it actually makes you think. Usually, when you read a story, you speed through the lines, but you actually have to stop and interpret when you read this because every line seems to hold its own cryptic meaning. Even now, I can't claim that I understand what every sentence means exactly, simply because I think that some of the lines can have different interpretations. (Or maybe it's because I'm a noob to Final Fantasy VII o.O)... It's also a new side of Sephiroth that I haven't considered, so it is very interesting indeed XDD

Beautiful, just like all of your other work. Probably one of the best, most accurate characterizations of Sephiroth I've ever read. The A/N at the end was a nice touch _. Being the AeriSeph girl that I am, I like it think he was talking to Aeris, but hoardes of fangirls works too. Keep up the great work!
