Lerris chapter 3 . 6/22/2019
It's worth noting that the watchers actively sabotaging themselves by trying to get rid of Buffy is, well, strange. I understand it is for the overall plot, but still its hard to see it as anything but odd. Sure they want control, but they are lucky to have two Slayers at all.
Guest chapter 37 . 4/23/2019
Okay, I'm enjoying this story, but this chapter made me want to scream.

How does the news paper know about the w/c before the aurors? Why do the Slayers get there irst? If Travers wanted the Slayers dead, then why did he leave Faith alive? Wtf is up with Buffy being such a whimp? Why are people sending owl's - which would take forever - in the middle of a frantic situation? And why does every author out there refuse to let Slayers kill people they know need to be dead.
TRAtheist chapter 2 . 9/18/2018
It doesn't matter how or why, when a child gains citizenship, no matter how unlawfully gained, they are a citizen and CAN'T be deported. Even if Buffy was adopted in the most unlawful manner possible, the only way for her to lose her American citizenship is for her to relinquish it. At the very worst, she would have dual citizenship, all she would have to do to stick her thumb into the Counsel's eye would be to saunter into any UK consulate and tell them she no longer wishes to have a UK citizenship.
Worldmaker chapter 1 . 8/18/2018
Yeah, interesting idea, but the fact that Buffy was legally adopted, and that there is paperwork supporting it, means that she can't be deported. She's an American, even if she wasn't born here.

This is called "when a fanfiction writer makes a HUGE mistake that a minute and a half of research could have prevented.
IsabellaAuroraPotter-Malfoy chapter 3 . 10/5/2017
Buffy Anne Summers is not older than Harry James Potter, she was born on 19th January 1981 and Harry was born 31st July 1980 making him six months older than Buffy .
Every Buffy and Harry potter story where Buffy is adopted and turns out to be Harry potter long list sister the write always has Buffy older than Harry when it should be the other way round.
Buffy year of birth is even shown at the end of season five the gift on her gravestone.
In Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows it also shows the year of when Harry parents died on their gravestones which was 1981 and Harry was one years old when his parents where killed which means he was born in 1980 not late 1980s or early 1990s.
on.ings.like.weagles chapter 3 . 3/25/2015
I was enjoying this story until now.
I cannot ignore the blatant fallacy you are trying to sell.
Buffy in this story has been a legal US Citizen since she was 8 months old. That is over 17 years.
And the Watcher's Council is a England-based institution. Only a complete idiot would think that another country has any say in whether a US Citizen could be deported from their own country!
The threat is baseless, and you are making all the characters out to be morons for believing it.
Jack of Spades29 chapter 2 . 3/14/2015
It would make more sense to me if the council threatened to kill Buffy if she DIDN'T stop the apocalypse, considering that the alternative is everyone dies. They don't seem to want to use any of their own resources to help. It's not like they gain something from not letting Buffy assist them.
bigtomato chapter 3 . 10/19/2014
Hmm... so dark, angry, and bitter witch Buffy... Oh and hopefully paired with Hermione or Luna!
Raethor chapter 1 . 7/20/2014
I'm confused, how is telling Buffy that she's really adopted supposed to hurt her? Other than making her mad at her parents for not telling her it wouldn't really affect her life. She's an American Citizen the council can't actually deport her.
Brenna's Urbangirl Projects chapter 2 . 4/25/2013
This is the second time I think I've read this. And one thing I hate to say is not plausible at all is the deportation. As another reviewer said she was adopted by an American citizen. Unless Joyce and Hank for some odd reason never filed the paperwork. She would be an American citizen because of her adoption. There is no way she could be deported. It was an empty threat, and unless Buffy is just stupid she would have known that.
HolleyS chapter 28 . 4/17/2013
buffy seems quite weak in this story
HolleyS chapter 26 . 4/17/2013

Obsidius chapter 54 . 8/11/2012
Awesome Story! Two thumbs up!
randyzoopurple chapter 12 . 10/15/2011
cute
irfane chapter 54 . 3/7/2011
The writing in this story is good, but after about chapter four I gave up. Deportation as a threat is just too big a plot hole if she was adopted.
