Shadow is so asking for it with that last comment. He does what Marianne forbade Michael to do: 'it's not like' or something along the lines of that. I love the end.

Marianne'll get her group to Xavier's too, I wonder if Vincent would still trust her, since she's part of Underground...

Now that was some great action, mister. I loved the part of the 'convincing' for Shadow, looks like him and Vince make quite a team for these kinda things, huh?

Can't wait to see what you've got planned for the final chapter.

Nice and dark, the end of this chapter, is Shadow gonna go too? If he is, I think you should take into account that he (nearly) lost a very close friend (Marianne) on such a mission.

Lol, that sounds like Shadow allright. You know, you could always have Vincent call Marianne, because Shadow implied in this chapter that he knows her and Michael, to confirm his identity and see if he's a threat.

I think the worst that could happen while going out just happened. I'd love to see Shadow try to explain why he reacted the way he did when he saw Vincent.

And I'm guessing the feeling of impending doom is justified.

Liz reminds me of my dad, with the cleaning, nothing else, I swear!

I'm thinking that in the next chapter, Liz will be wishing she had gone on a endless vacation? Considering the title. Shadow, that can't be good... Well, atleast he'll know better then to say ninja's and samoerai ain't real, I hope.

NOW your story! This is a review after all! I imediatly liked your writting style. It flows smoothly, the dialog and actions of the characters are linked by detail, which can be difficult for some authors, but not you aparently.

I have never heard of these characters before(I dont know if they are OC or not) but I can tell their personalitys without having too.

Vincent is a bit dark, giving him a bit of an edge. Most peoples OC characters are overly confindent and overyly beautiful, but you can tell he has had a pretty rough life. Hes been around the block a few times.
