I read this before, and I really liked the portrayal of Kirsune and Su in this. Even THEY know better than to pull their crap on people with the same conditions ike Keitaro in this story... unlike Naru and Motoko, WHAT hypocrites! NO honor.

A sad story, but at least it's possible to train to manage the symptoms of autism. There's hope that he won't stay there forever. Hey, Hanuko, Kanako, or Kitsune could get training as a live-in assistant. They'd open up more options for a degree of independence.

I'm autistic myself, but I shudder at the thought of having this degree of disability. It can be difficult to handle, but it's nothing like this. Even having the amazing skills of a savant (which I desperately envy) wouldn't be worth such an extreme place in the Spectrum.

I've always found it ironic that, because the Autistic Spectrum covers so many different traits, it's possible for two autistic people to loath one another because each of their traits intrudes upon the other's. Like one of them hating being touched, and the other needing to touch everything. Or who have different ideas about what order things need to be arranged in.

Too too mushy

This was a great story, I really enjoyed it. There were some parts I thought were just a little too unbelievable (particularly the "romance" felt very forced, at least in how it seemed like everyone was kind of accepting of it. I don't think people are that open minded for sure).

Overall I felt like the writing was decently paced, the characters were well done and if it was a little over-melodramatic at some points, I didn't mind. I also applaud you for going with a "downer ending" - that's not something you see in fanfiction works very often and I have to say, I think it was completely the appropriate choice. Well done.

I loved the movie rain an but I absolutely hated the ending especially how Dustin Hoffman's character went back to the institution. There's just so little we as a society understand about people who have Autism. This fanfic was very well written and the main characters from the Love Hina are portrayed magnificent but just like in the movie Rainman there is that unseen part of the story that screams that the immediate family members don't know how or can't provide for the members needs which is entirely untrue in a lot of cases and situations so although many times Medical Professionals think they are the smarter ones and should be making the decisions for said individual they really don't need to at all. In all this fanfic was terrific though be it sad at the end.

Man, this starts to be a little ludicrous. Somehow I have impression that Keitaro is not only one person with mental problems here.

Amount of unneccessary japanese words start to irritiate me. Abuse of them is surefire mark of crapfics.

I can almost relate to Keitaro. I have ADD, Autism and Aspergers. Though I haven't been institutionalized I can still relate.

This story...this story...it was so heartwrenching and sweet. But this last scene...I just couldn't help but sob at this final tearjerking scene. It felt like my heart was being torn out. This story...there are no words to describe just how amazing this fic was. Thank you for writing this beautiful story.

That was too sad but I think it would have been better if the doctors had allowed Keitaro to stay. I hope you will write a second edition to this story and maybe you can alter the ending this time
