Bishieluver01 chapter 1 . 7/10/2011
Thia was... this was just brilliant! I was wondering how Jack was going to pop up in the story throughout the entire thing, but when he finally appeared I nearly cheered! ...And the thought of a clean-shaven Jack is awesome~
Anonymous Plume chapter 1 . 3/21/2011
AHAHAHA! OMG. I seriously did NOT see that coming! hehehe, I had to go back and re-read it! Well done!

You're weren't kidding about the glasses and wiggery (why did i forget that whilst reading? duh.) So, erm, cute? Sweet? No. Utterly piratey and farcical, which is exactly as it should be.

I loved Jack's little speech on mercy. Made my heart go twaaaang.

best. pirate. ever.
SkyHighFan chapter 1 . 9/17/2010
Nice. I like that, it was really funny. Jack as a judge-advocate? Oh (laughs hystericaly) I feel bad for everyone if he ever DOES go down that path.
The Breeze chapter 1 . 9/2/2010
I have never read Pirate fanfiction before, but this was great.
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 2/16/2009

CaptainSammish chapter 1 . 6/5/2007
Great story! I was immensely entertained the whole way through.
Forensic Photographer711 chapter 1 . 5/28/2007
Oh my, this was so wonderful! It's so unique to the brand of storytelling found in the POTC fandom which makes it even more amazing. You my friend seem to have a genuine gift for prose, it just flowed so wonderfully and your diction was pretty much spot on sweetness.

Haha, I love Jack and I totally knew something was up when the 'judge-advocate' was gaining entirely too much pleasure from his recitation. But I wasn't entirely sure it was Jack until Dennis mentioned the wink, the cat was pretty much out the bag for me then and I was loving it! Of course, "You are, without a doubt, the worst judge-advocate I’ve ever seen.", was just the icing on the whole cake. After reading that I was laughing for quite awhile, long after finishing this lovely tale.

Gilette and Groves are as wonderful as ever, and your OC's are greatly developed as well. The way Norrington refers to Elizabeth makes me giggle " his earnest shipmates were certainly safer company than the Machiavellian lady who had sent him and his men into the embrace of unkillable pirates."

And then of course him getting riled because Sparrow was setting him free above the law, so Norrington and making me love him more!

This was just amazing, and there is so much more I could comment on but I'll leave you with this, wouldn't want to bore you to death. A must have for my favorites list, and I will most definetly look into your other works.
Padfoot n' Moony chapter 1 . 7/25/2006
hilarious!
hoheehum chapter 1 . 7/21/2006
This... is SO awesome!

Definitely on the "fav" list now!

If this is any indication, you should write more PotC! I mean, you even won an award! (An AUTOGRAPHED award!)

I was WONDERING, "hmm, how is Jack gonna pull this off...?"

Then you wrote:

"The man currently making a mockery of things was either incompetent, daft or both."

And I thought, "Did Ms. 42 just say... DAFT? And Larpent, who was inconveniantly inclined, is just ill? Getting a kick out of telling the story..."

It was like playing "Where's Waldo?" but with Captain Sparrow; though sporting a notable lack of red- and white-striped get-ups, he WAS carrying a stack of books.

Despite my musings, when it was confirmed, I still almost fell off my chair.

"“You are, without a doubt, the worst judge-advocate I’ve ever seen.” His words rang out, clear but incongruous to all but Groves and Gillette, whose jaws fell open simultaneously."

And I love the Lieutenants. They were thinkin' it, but Norrington's delivery still just makes it so wonderfully shocking.

And Groves- always one for a little bit of ribbing. "“So it would seem.”"

Oh, and don't worry about Billy- you did nothing volatile in your rephrasing of his words. The meaning was the same, and the words altered for a purpose you understood.

Admiral Shylock misses out on his pound of flesh. Ah well.

Well, thanks for the wonderful story!

yers, hoheehum
Razberry chapter 1 . 7/14/2006
*adds to favorites*

That was priceless. *snickers*

“You are, without a doubt, the worst judge-advocate I’ve ever seen.” I almost died. Really. XD

This is one of those fics that you read and it just makes you go all squishy at the end and you just can't stop smiling. It's a good feeling.

Why didn't I find this earlier? *wonders*
Lizzy chapter 1 . 12/31/2005
This is... beyond fantastic. :-D
