A lovely story. The flashbacks with Theodred were nicely written, starting cute when she was a child and progressing slowly. I liked the slow pace (too slow for Eomer's taste, but he was admirably patient) of her marriage with him, starting from duty and then friendship to finally love. They both deserved happiness.

Love comes softly... indeed! Very beautiful writing! I loved how you had the two of them speak the way people of noble birth would... and I liked the flashbacks to Lothíriel's time with Théodred a lot.

I found her raging and crying very sincere

Lothiriel seems wierder and wierder to me. But perhaps it is her sheltered upbringing. By the time I was 18, I had said so many goodbyes with never time to mourn, that I hardly know what mourning is.

Lothiriel's fixation with Theodred is a bit strange to me, but I do see the rationale behind it

I am glad Eomer did not need to be attacked by an orc for Lothiriel to want to soend time with him

If my younger sister asked me how to forget their past love, I would say that it is possible to love two people with all your heart.

I like Eomer's thoughfulness, though in some ways he is rushing Lothiriel by bringing this possibility up just meet weeks after the war ended. But I do agree with Eomer that Lothiriel needs a gentle touch
