I really liked this chapter Agent-G. I liked how you had Kurt be there for Vince when he needed a friend. Kurt fits well into the role of a sage, through his strength of faith and trust in God. It is one of the three main reasons that he is my favorite comic book character.

ME: Huh? What makes you say that?

Van: Dunno. I just needed to say something, and then I thought: "Why just say anything when I can make it insulting?" So I called you shallow.

ME: Hm. You're an interesting person.

Van: Yes. Thank you.

ME: That wasn't a compliment.

Van: Oh. Well I guess I deserved that.

ME: Yup.

a nice and sad story, love the Vincent/Kurt bonding. this is the hardest thing, how can we have faith when there is so much evil in the world. i agree that's when Faith is there the most, Life is a long hard road, but that doesn't mean we go it alone, we have faith to guide us. i like this story
