Aww, this is really nice. If we sat down and thought about it, Shuichi's frequent absences would certainly cause Shiori to worry and get suspicious, despite Shuichi's excuses. After all, she's a mother. She knows when her child is lteling the truth or not. Funny, she knows her child, yet there are still things that are forever hidden from her. Um, you know what I mean. xD

Anyway, this is real good! ;) I loved reading it.

It's so good to see fics where Shiori isn't blind to her son's habits, even if she doesn't understand what they mean.

Very sad but interesting read, it's true that a mother isn't as oblivious as you think. Mothers may not mention it but they are the ones that truly know you they have watched you since you were a babe. It's sad to think that Shiori is the mother of a Changeling child and she knows and excepts this, and still protects him. Kurama really does remind me of the Changelings from the old stories.
