It's sad at the end but understandable for even a genius could make mistakes like this at such a young age. And Ino, being compassionate Ino, I would like to think would understand later on. I only wished there was a continuation to this but I guess it was right to leave it as such. Love this!

I'm here again, just some minutes after, because I unintendedly ended up in another one of your amazing stories. The thing is, when you write I can feel everything the characters are thinking. In this fic, for example, it hurt my chest when Shika reasoned how he shouldn't mourn over the past, but he still watched Ino going too far for him to reach, knowing that it's his fault.

It was great when a five year old Shikamaru was pondering about the fate his folks were talking about, but it was so cute when I imagined Ino stubbornly coming to his classroom to take care of him.

This story was absolutely superbly written. I'm not much of a fan of first point-of-view, but I love this story too much. I bow down to you. Usually it's the M stories that has me reeling, but ugh... I love this piece. I applaud you!

Ah... this was lighter after reading first "Letting go". I wish to read more ShikaIno from you .. and I wonder will there be one with them ending up together.

I feel a bit bad at Shika, though you can't blame Ino. I would do the same thing if someone said something mean about my cooking, I wouldn't give them any of my cooking.

I'm happy he admits he regrets what he did to her when they were children.

This is a very cute tale with a twist. I liked the sophistication Shikamaru has as a 5 year old and the realization of a mistake of epic proportions as he looks back on the fateful day he threw away Ino's miso soup.
