And now continues the cycle of Neo-Queen Serenity's children being the wrong one. Oh boy. This was good.

Wow, really wow. I don't always cry when I read a fic, but this got me tearing up at least three times, starting with the scene where Naru has her hair forcibly brushed out. A lot of emotions from all the characters, and I like that none of them are 100 percent in the right or in the wrong. Even the NPCs were good additions, like the children of servants Naru grew up observing. Naru herself is an interesting OC, and I liked how her wanting a scooter shows how different her tastes are to Chibi-Usa. Even her thinking of Chibi-Usa as a sister instead of just "the other child" shows the complexity of how she views this situation.

Good job overall!

This is a very fascinating and moving story. The paradox of time travel isn’t a simple one.

maybe she exists in some sort of twin parallel timeline with chibi-usa. Like Naru goes back in time and creates the timeline/split that spawns Chibi(pink hair) and Chibi goes back in time and spawns the version that creates Naru version. They separate yet similar timelines but still intertwined. (Kinda liKe Adult trunks time travel in DBZ)

You can feel the despair of the Neo-lady, and how sad her life was. I could not be bothered at all with the rest because I knew that probably, they would never have stopped looking for Chibi-usa, because they loved her.

All this was a difficult journey, I did not know which side to be on. And I loved it!

This is one of those stories that I stumble across and reread periodically ever since I first found it a few years ago, and each time I never cease to be moved by the intensity of the story. The premise and the way the characters are developed is a hauntingly beautiful deconstruction of SM's happily-ever-after Crystal Tokyo trope, and Naru may very well be the most well-written OC i've ever encountered. Truly one of the best fanfics I've read, ever. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing work with us internet strangers :)
