As for your work... It's amazing and really heartfelt. Being an amature i can't really say anything for advice or anthing. But you don't need it really. Its got amazing description and really heartfelt.

And the last line like veryone else says is extremely... Gippal. It brings his full personality into the fanfic.

It was wonderfully written, but the last line was so different from the rest of Gippal's personality in the story...it went from serious back to typical Gippal. And it was wonderful!

I really like that, even though it made me squirm and rub at the side of my face a bit, I could easily picture myself in Gippal's place in this fic. In almost every FFX-2 fic I've read that dealt with the way he lost his eye it was in some grand tragedy that I can't relate to at all, but stupidly screwing up at exactly the wrong time? Oh, I can relate. And that makes the story much more real feeling then any of a hundred tragical stories of how, I dunno, his eye was gouged out by bandits while he watched their leader rape his mom or something (And, um, if anyone wrote that happening and is now reading this, I'm sorry. I just threw something down off the top of my head, and didn't know someone had actually written it).

Your Gippal-voice is great, I could easily imagine this happening pre-game. I wasn't expecting to end the story with a smile on my face, but I did because Gippal's so dang cocky, even after what's happened, and I love him for it.

This is great! And not just cause I'm partial to Gippal. It's really great. :)

The last line was very funny! I love Gippal with his cocky attitude very much, even though he is computer animated! LOL! Very well written.

WoW...that was very good! Your descriptions of his feelings and troubles are really amazing! Your story caught me in right away! And the whole situation was made so typically "Gippal" with he ending! It was perfect!

If I didn't know any better I'd say this was exactly how he felt when our Gippal lost his eye! I loved the way this was written and you can actually experience his many emotions about it as well.

That is such a great way to describe something that remains burned in your brain, like a horrific accident or tragedy.
