Awesome it was almost like I was reading a novel instead of a fanfiction

(I feel silly, but I keep coming back to read this. On long, hard days, I look for old fics to read and this one is just. It's not quite a tearjerker, it's not quite heartwarming and it's not quite bittersweet, but it's still a really good pick-me-up.)

I love it. It is just fitting so well the original story and the characters. It is so sad that Sesshoumaru is left alone, and the last of his kind. The way you portray them is impressive, very emotional withouth being OOC.

I am grateful to leian for recommending this story to me. It's beautiful, emotional-extremely well written. The characterizations of both Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, grown and matured by sorrow, were spot on, and the dialogue between them captured the changing currents of tension, grief, even brotherhood. Truly, a great read and a new addition to my list of favorites. :)

I liked it a lot! The ending was...unexpected and was kind of like a twist to the story...but it was REALLY good! And I like your ending note...SesshoMaru is frickin scary to write lol I have to agree with you, but you did an AWESOME job at writing him! :D Many Kudos!

Wow. That was way good-normally I hate Sess/Rin pairings rather passionatly, but this was actually very good. My congradulations, thank you for writing this. I loved the imagry that you used in this. Gosh. It was just... I can't even say. But yes, this is definatly one for the fav list.

This is the most awesome portreyal of Sesshoumaru I have ever seen! EVER! Inuyasha is also written very well too. I absolutely LOVED this story! It was also beautifully written and was something I could imagine happening in the future.

You have made my day! I was beginning to think that the number of good authors were going down the tubes until I read this. Please keep up the great work!
