good story so far man

This story is really well done. Though the only thing I don't like about this one is the fact that you didn't use his knowledge about the story more.

He only used it on a few occasion like when he got them Ultimate Weapon, and when he face some boss. Other than that, it was just a waste.

very good considering ALMOST every other fiction like this is rushed to the point of unreadable, i'll keep reading it. I think it deserves that much :)

I had a story of like this, so when I saw it I decided to give it a try. I don't regret it. This story was really well done, and I loved reading it. I will definitely enjoy the sequel.

I have lost count of the number of times I've read this story, it is without doubt one of my favorites. It has actually inspired me to do my own FFX SI; I have my own ideas for a story line however that story line requires my OC to actually wield Squall's Gunblade and use Renzokuken as his overdrive. I don't want to seme to be copying you so, do you mind if I use them?

Interesting read. Pretty much made me think of playing the game again even though I'm not that fond of it. Way too many holier than thou and selfish naive personalities for my liking.

As for the story, of course it was a great one as it was the FFX story, which is good regardless of my reservations about it. The added twist of you inserting your own character made it an even more worthwhile read as many things that I myself wanted to do (like telling Shelinda to shut the hell up) were in there.

One thing though, that I think was pretty much pointless throughout was Ben and Rikku's relationship. It wasn't really a relationship in my opinion. And when they were finally able to actually make it a relationship Ben just hoped a portal back home. I know you will probably expand on it in the sequel but really I feel like the whole Ben and Rikku thing was...how to put this...flat.

It was pretty much: Ben: "hey you're hot!" Rikku: "really!" Ben: "yeah let's go out!"

My point there being their actual feelings were never discussed between themselves or with anyone else beyond "i got a crush on her". Granted Tidus and Yuna did pretty much the same thing but there was a reason. Yuna held back because she thought she was going to die and even then she was still able to show more emotion about her feelings towards Tidus than Rikku or Ben did for each other. The subtlety of Tidus and Yuna was cliche like in many games and movies but it still worked.

I know it's every guy's dream to see a hot girl and say "yo I like you!" And she just smiles and says "ok!" but it only works that way in...well...games (irony) lol and anime.

Other than that like I said great stuff. It was like playing the game again through a different perspective.

Guess I'll go on to the sequels now. Can't wait till I get to your third installment. FF8 is my second favorite in the series 7 being my first.

Maybe if you find yourself with the time you can check out my FF7 fic that I recently (like a month or two ago) began writing again after a I don't know how many years break.

That was an interesting first chapter. I don't read that much first person storytelling but this has got me in that "what's gonna happen next mode"

Not that big a fan of FFX either but every time I think of FFX-2, FFX seems more and more like a classic O_o. I love FFVIII though and saw that your third installment of this series is a crossover between the two games and being the type of person that hates viewing, reading, or playing sequels before seeing the the beginning I am gonna see how this all starts.

I normally don't read fanfiction that involves the canon characters of the material either (notice your story has a lot of things I don't like but it still has grabbed my attention lol) but you have an OC in here. Hopefully more will come.

Now with my reading preference back story out of the way lol we can get on to my thoughts.

Don't really have that many just now ._. Haha just wanted to let you know that even though your story is riddled with things that turn me away from fan fiction and stories in general I still want to read it. Your first chapter was awesome.

The only thing I think was needed was a bit more realistic thinking on Ben's part. I mean yeah he is gonna get to live every fanboy's dream of going into his favorite game and living the adventure but Ben seems to be intelligent enough to know that living the adventure means living the danger as well but he didn't consider any of that when speaking with the fayth.

Spira is dangerous and the game characters from FFX are kind of super human when you think about it. Not FF7-Advent Children style but still stronger than people from the real world, where Ben is from. Just my opinion but I think he should have been a little more reserved about jumping into the portal rather than being all Captain N gung ho about it.

Other than that great stuff.
