I enjoyed your story a lot. Yet you wrote one in your story that Creigh companion Donli had another Chosen before she Chose Creigh. Yet according to Mercedes Lackey a Companion only chooses once except for the King/Queen's own Companion. To break the bond would cause harm to the Herald and the Companion would die. So do you really mean that the companion was just helping the student? Thanks.

I would like to post a couple of this now just to clarify, but i will probably repeat myself in earlier chapters which i will review after this...just to bring it to your attention.

I believe the term you are looking for is MEDIATION not MEDITATION. MEDITATION is a trance, a kind of training for the mind, while MEDIATION is a gift, skill, or psychic ability.

I would also like to ask why Alberich's actions are so erratic...they seem to be completely random.

Also...I would like to see him knock some sense into those blues...being a martial arts instructor myself...heh, i guess i could relate ;) brings me joyful memories of sending kids to do knuckle push ups on the cement floor...and doing them myself when i was training...

hey, regular Companions die when their Chosen dies, only the Monarch's own Companion chooses another person. just thought you might want to know.

What's the deal with the piece of parchment? Is is supposed to be a mystery or am I supposed to know what it is? I don't think you mentioned a piece of parchment before this chapter. Am I being stupid?

Chapter 5 could use a few more proofs. There's a paragraph where you switch the gender of Ooric so many times that I wasn't sure what he/she was.

I sure would like to know what is on that piece of paper. How did Ooric get ahold of it if it was in the bag? What gift does Haschel have? Healing I assume, but you never did mention it.

For the most part, great storyline and plot.

As for this chapter, it was a bit windy, but good. And technically, he could have gone to Alberich with the story, and let him put a scare into the others.
