I'm not sure if you're going to put Jean with Logan or not, sounds like you may pair her with Lance instead. Either way I rather like this story. Maybe you'll update it again someday.

NO. My only complaint about this fanfiction is the fact that it remain INCOMPLETE in 2016. WHYYY, this is so cruel because this is SO good. Great writing, plot, characterization, and I really, really wish you'd finished this! Either way, *amazing* job.

Well...that was a kinda sucky cut off in my opinion, but I definitely did enjoy this story while it lasted, and I did know coming in that it would not be finished. It's still a huge bummer, though.

It last being updated in 2005 and it now being 2014 means there is probably zero chance of this ever being revisited, but I do have to tell you that I really enjoyed the idea.

I also think you did an awesome job with all of the characters that you used. They feel very in character given the situation.

Thank you very much for writing at least this much. I would love to see this continued, but I don't have much hope.

I don't know why, but the idea of Mystique, Toad, Jean, and Logan going to stay together kinda makes me want to read a Toad/Jean pairing as odd as that sounds haha. I'm not a fan of Logan/Jean, but if that's how it goes it won't keep me from reading.

...also the fact that this is an abandoned fic won't stop me either *cry*

So, I've VERY recently started mulling through your fics and WOW! From "Manipulating Evolution" to this "And I feel Fine" I see a HUGE improvement in your writting ability. It's amazing. I've always found your concepts intruiging, but had to struggle through some poor grammar, and this one reads like smooth silk. I'm pleased to see the improvement and eager to read more of this fic... even if it is over 5 years old.

Oh come on, you can't stop there! This is one of the best EvoAU fics I've ever read.

I love stories that switch from one perspective to another and do it well. You manage to have all these different stories with all this different characters going on in every chapter and never once is one character compromised. You balance it so well and show how the disease is spreading in every place around the world with the simple flick of a wrist. Impressive and very well written.

Of course, my favorite bits involved Lance and Pietro. I love the way you draw this story so close to the lines of Evo. I mean, the alarm system and how midterms are coming up and Lance's distant crush on Kitty. It felt so real, the way he was just admiring her.

But I have never been so impressed by a fanfictional bit of writing as the piece with Pietro. The way you side stepped him thinking about Wanda with that simplicity... 'it hurt to think about Wanda'. I loved how you did that and how you detailed Pietro and Evan's hatred from one another. You protrayed it all so well.. I commend you for it.

And you just made my favorite authors list for giving Todd a beauitfully terrible background that fits so snugly with his devious personality. What a wonderful reason for him to go so willingly with Mystique. I commend you for it, seeing how he's my favorite character; as if the penname isn't hint enough.

I think you're nailing Mystique at every turn. You're description of her thoughts and actions are flawless. Wonderful.

And I like your use of a prediction as a way of letting her know the virus was spreading. Especially how it got transferred to humans due to her mutation. Very clever.

I'm very much enjoying this story.

The way you write is so neat and crisp and flows wonderfully from one part to the next. It's so refreshing after searching for something to read and mindlessly flipping through junk.

Aside from that, the storys sounds quite interesting... the idea of a 'what if' story interested me in the beginning and I've never really heard of the concept before; I know I've never read one before. This story means to be leading up to something good... and if the plot is as good as the writing, I'll be with you until the end.

Finally, an author who kills the characters just like I do. Wodnerful. I can't wait to get to the deaths.

Oh my God. Take this as an extreme compliment coz I'm not the kinda girl that says Oh my God. The dialogue is breezy and perfectly pitched and the prose is simple, original and poetic. This has gotten better.
