This is one of the best Lupin fan fics on the site. Nice going :D The only thing I have to say is the birth dates for his father is accurate. The novel was written in 1912 and at that time lupin the first was, lets say 30. So lupin II should be born 1912 to 1920 probably or at the latest 1925. Then if he had lupin III when he was 20-30 yrs old lupin III would be born 1940ish and by the time of the first series (1970s) he would be 30 yrs

Zenigata always seemed such an enigma; on one hand he has this obsession with bringing Lupin to justice but on the other spends an awful lot of the series making sure the crew doesn't die. I really liked this antagonistic/friendly/almost parental thing they have going especially when juxtaposed with Lupin's relationship with his blood relatives. Another wonderful piece for the Lupin the Third fandom!

Can I just say? This is quite possibly the best story in the Pit. Even if it isn't, it'd definitely place in the top ten.

I loved all the nods to our dear original-model Lupin (even though LeBlanc's novels are torturously difficult to track down, so I haven't read much on him yet *shakes fist at Anglocentric bookshops*). And I'm a total sucker for tsundere!Zenigata, even when shipping isn't necessarily the intent, so way to go with all the non-H fanservice!

Okay, critique, critique... well, there were a few spelling/punctuation errors, but it's been like four years, so I'm not gonna make you wade through this thing again just to slip in missing letters and commas.
